@Miles Tails I know this is 3 years too late, but this problem seems to only affect the PS4 version as I've been playing the Xbox One version on my Series X since June & all of the guns sound normal in that version.

for those that stuggle against this shit..up ur level to at least 100 ..summon 3 cat ..use poison built..when his ki is about to deplete..use ninjust feather lightining spell or if omnyo use lighting spell..then u can beat him under 1 min..haha..i struggle against this bos before..but with my spell..he shit..
