1888 A.T.Schofield suggested God and spirits exist in 4th dimensional space. Kaluza Klein Theory shows we can complete the unified field theory if we consider more than 3 spatial dimensions. This is scientific basis for the existence of God as an extradimensional entity. The ark underwent spatial alteration similar to the scifi "Tardis" in "Doctor Who", making it much larger on the inside. The animals easily relocated by the extradimensional entity or its subordinates. The 40 days were actually much longer due to artificially created time dilation. The amount of water the result of dimensional folding and borrowed from other locations. Theoretical physics easily explains the events. In quantum mechanics, the collapse of the wave particle duality in the double slit experiment under observation has yet to have a scientific explanation. There are the typical high school level arguments about "something" interfering, but particles would impact and electromagnetism already creates the wave pattern. Diffraction through the slits has varying explanations and science still hasn't fully explained oddities like Poisson's Spot. But the changing of the quantum nature from wave to particle goes far beyond simple interference. It implies what Max Planck is quoted as saying, "I regard consciousness to be fundamental. I regard matter to be a function of consciousness. " None of which lends itself to athiesm.

If that much magma erupted from the mid oceanic ridges as he claims the heat would boil the oceans and kill everything in them. Plate movement and mountain building also generate heat so if you cram 200 million years of heat generation into one year it would melt the earth’s crust. But all this can be swept under the rug if you want to start with the Bible.

The SIMPLE fact that someone wants to REASON AWAY a phenomenon is evidence they have no clue. If you observe anything, for example, ‘a forest of trees’, who would reason those away? The answer is ‘probably someone who destroys’. You will always have to destroy something before you put another thing in its place. That’s okay for a forest to be torn down in order to build a structure, but it’s strange to deny the trees were there first.

Point 1) I remember quite vividly that many YECs explain the grand canyon directly by the flood. So to me it seems accusing Collins of a strawman attack is more like an ad hominem by you than a fault by Collins. Your main argument, as I understood it, is that lithification can occur rapidly. Okay, conceded, but you failed to show that this rapid process by calcium carbonat cementation is what actually happend in all the layers in the Grand Canyon. Well, it didn´t, and so you made an invalid argument here. Point 2) To tell you, what can and can not happen during a flood is certainly NOT a strawman argument. It is just showing what is physically possible. Deposition of evaporates during a flood is impossible. Period. And the papers shown here are about subsurface deposition on a small scale. You must really have a very low opinion of the intelligence of your audience. Well, thought I would go through all the points, but sorry, guys, if you make already in the first 2 items on the list such fundamental mistakes, things get boring.

Noah would have brought in a pair of baby dinosaurs into the ark which would have occupied very little space. Also It's completely plausible for Penguins and bears in the ark as well. We have evidence that Penguins can travel 1000s of kilometres through the Earth's oceans. And we also evidence of rapid speciation that just takes decades to happen from Darwin's finches, so it is entirely possible for a pair of bears to be in the ark and then rapidly speciate in the post flood scenario spawning polar bears.

Rather indications of magmatic origin for salt deposits are strong- the lava lamp shapes, the association with faults, the separation of NaCl from CaSO4 and striated mixing lower in columns, etc.

two words - hydroplate theory. Note how many times the criticism is about too much limestone for the flood to form. Not with HPT. See Brian Nickel's channel, excellent videos

    1. The most common date given for the flood is 4400 years ago, right in the middle of the Egyptians first burst of city and temple building, why did they not notice they were under water? 2. To flood the planet to over top the highest mountain you would need about 3 to 4 times the known amount of water in the world, where did all that water come from? 3. After the flood, where did the water go? 4. How did 8 people build a wooden ship bigger than any wooden ship built in modern times when THAT ship was reinforced with steel bracing and still broke up and sank. 5. How did animals with odd diets get to the ark? 6. How did 8 people deal with the needs of 10000 animals on the ark? Each animal had to be fed, watered, exercised and the poop scooped. Working 12 hours a day they would need to deal with over 100 animals per hour. 7. If there were 10000 animals on the ark representing about 4000 species, and there is now about 8.7 million species on Earth, each species surviving the flood would have to generate 217 new species in the 4400 years since the flood. 8. If there were 10000 animals on the ark representing about 4000 species, and there is now about 8.7 million species on Earth, each species surviving the flood would have to generate 217 new species in the 4400 years since the flood. 9. Well according to the Book of Jasher, the wives ARE sisters. Jasher 5: 32-35 "And thou shalt choose for thy sons three maidens, from the daughters of men, and they shall be wives to thy sons. And Noah rose up, and he made the ark, in the place where God had commanded him, and Noah did as God had ordered him. In his five hundred and ninety-fifth year Noah commenced to make the ark, and he made the ark in five years, as the Lord had commanded. Then Noah took the three daughters of Eliakim, son of Methuselah, for wives for his sons, as the Lord had commanded Noah." If a species undergoes a population bottleneck, the lack of genetic diversity can be seen in the members of that species. NO such bottle neck exists in the overwhelming majority of species. 10. 4400 years is not a long enough time to generate the diversity in the human population to give rise to the different populations of people we see on the planet especially when you consider that effectively the genetic diversity was limited to 4 people, Noah and his wife and Eliakim and his wife. 11. Ken Ham's phony Ark has a million Dollar + heating, ventilation and air conditioning system that ensures that workers and visitors do not suffocate in the building. According to the bible, the original Ark had one window, 18 in square. Sorry people but if Ham's estimate of 1600 species represented by a minimum of 4000 animals, they would have suffocated. 12. There is NO trace of any global flood in the geology of the world. Lots of local and regional floods, yes, but NO global flood. 13. Oh and by the way, for those fools at CMI who think Noah's Flood was a real event, a Tomb has been discovered in Egypt dated to 4400 years ago, about the time of the mythical flood (according to many biblical creationists). This raises several questions. a. If the Tomb was built before the flood, how did it escape being flooded? b. If the Tomb was built after the flood, the Earth's population would have been devistated so who built the tomb? c. Why is this Tomb perfectly in line with Egyptian culture before and after the fairy tale flood? If everybody in Egypt were killed in the flood, the Egyptian culture from before the flood would have been lost. Untouched 4,400-year-old tomb discovered at Saqqara, Egypt National Geographic, PUBLISHED DECEMBER 17, 2018

@@engagetruth2057 • I enjoyed your geological explanations (and admissions of not having the answers to all problems). An added bonus was your reply to the commenter in this thread, it was a masterful response. It was very helpful and instructional, if you like, ‘An idiot’s guide on how to handle trolling’. That said, to the commenter, I did not call you ‘a troll’ because, as someone made in the image of God I consider you a brother or sister in His family on account of the finished work of Christ Jesus, a belief, I know, that runs contrary to the orthodoxy of ‘Evangelical Christianity’ (which is neither). Gary, if you have not been enlightened to know God as a loving Father you will, at least to some degree, speak and/or act with the mentality of a spiritual orphan. As such, although you may have very sincere questions to ask (and valid insights to share) they can be obscured by the clamour of a heart that needs to be heard. Keep asking questions, but respectfully and in love. Grace and peace to all.
