Would love to se a general review of this kayak, theres not many available on YT. Would be nice to see more of it in action on the water; maybe speak to its maneuverability, stability, etc. Possibly even show some examples of its handling. Thanks for this video BTW! Very nice to see all the things that can be added to it. I plan to get 2 as soon as they come back in stock.

You get what you pay for for sure ! Hobie has thought of everything to make a great kayak. But for most folks you should start out with something a little more affordable to see if you like the sport that much. But definitely an awesome kayak. Some people fish from Rangers and some fish from Jon boats !

I purchased another so I could have a spare for others who wanted to come along._*

It is a bit of a challenge to figure out the backpack into the seat. And it is really hard to fit back into the backpack comopactly. All three of my teens, with no experience at all kayaking were maneuvering all over the lake. The are super confortable and a hell of a lot of fun. I am going to buy 2 more so the whole family can kayak together. We all had a blast. They are light, durable, and really cute. The oars work great. They are very compact as well. This couldn't have been more perfect for us._*

That is a pretty sweet ride! Hobie is definitely the Cadillac of kayaks. Why do you use 20 year old reels?

Sweet ride. I just recently bought a predator mx and love it. I'm entering a few kayak fishing tournaments and there are a few hobie kayaks for winning. I would love one of these

Just wondering if you had paddled the kayak upstream against the current or taken it on the ocean. I have a canoe and it is a nightmare even on a lake on a windy day. In heavy wind I have spent over 3 hours of constant paddling against the wind only to be pushed back. Is a kayak much easier in conditions like these?

No anchor trolley system?

I like. Fishing evenings and nights, this would be great. Considered doing this too. I also saw some long, adhesive and flexible strip lights at Bass Pro that would be interesting for external illumination on a kayak. I think this could be handy for night fishing. Only drawback is that I'd have to pierce the external hull to mount these for wiring. You considered outward facing lights?
