I might be the only person that started Normal People and was like “ehh.” You rekindled some enthusiasm for it and will give it another go. Also, I like the ease in which you unhaul. I need to channel some of that decisiveness. My TBR is out of control.

You should start with the Bill Hodges series before you read the outsiders the outsiders is like book one and four of a series if that makes sense

Omg I loved Clap when land it was such an easy read, I suggest listening to the audiobook it was amazing, and I believe Elizabeth Acevedo narrates them herself!!

Of Mice and Men is John Steinbeck, which I'm reading right now. I actually have never read Hemingway, and I don't really plan to. I'm not a fan of him as a person, nor his minimalist style, so I'll probably keep avoiding his books.

Those books took a lot of reading and faith in the stories as some had off the wall concepts or powerful concepts. It takes a good writer to pull them off and make us believe the world and characters they are presenting us with. Its very disappointing when that doesnt happen but loved the realism of your descriptions. I hate when a book goes nowhere with what could have been a great story. I hope you have a strong reading month in july. ❤📚
