My mother had a washer with an impeller and I would always have to take her clothes home to put in my Speed Queen front load as the water in the HE washer never covers the clothes....agitator all the way

Impeller doesn’t clean well, i washed a queen comforter but the centee of the comforter never get wet when the cycle completed. Now i have a SQ Tc5000 with agitator and its cleaned very well. My Winter sweater is damn dirty at the sleeves and it dissolved all the dirt. Bit the impeller never cleaned it out. That’s my experience

Man! Instructor, agitators are as old as washers, not 10 to 15 years ago...Perhaps old school, but definitely older than 10 to 15 years old. This technology is more than 70 years old. The Old Wrangler Washers had agitators in them.
