I just started fishing the new slide swimmer by butch brown and the hook-up tackle I live in Maryland I fish a lot of pounds and lakes we are going into winter here is there a time of year that you can't throw glide bait

Once again you killed it with the video. Nice fish as always. I finally hit rosy for the 1st time this year for a yak tournament and got skunked decided to stay after and of course I pull one in 7.1lbs on the scale. I love that lake. I just haven't been able to find any smallies the last 2yrs. Love da videos braddah keep dem coming 🤙🏽

So I have my eye on a 179. How did it handle moderate waves when running? Did it get blown around easily while fishing? Was it "tippy" when you walk around? What was your top speed solo? With 2 guys? The layout is good for me and I think there is enough storage and deck space for my needs. Thanks for replying.

I loved the 179. It’s on the smaller side but was perfect. Only reason I upgraded was to get a big motor and I started fishing tournaments

@UCDp7UxqAN-gFs6pv5XpcsRw it’s a great entry level glass boat. Storage is a little small. It’s handles moderate waves well you do bounce and get wet from time to time. It isn’t tippy with two people but does move especially with my fishing partner who’s 6’1 220 and we’re both standing on one side. But we also both fished up front. We were close but it wasn’t bad. Top speed I saw was 45 with the 115 no jack plate. It’s a great boat for just fun fishing and does the job well.

Forsure I’m going to start getting my swim bait gear I just got a dobyns champions 807 rod and a curado DC reel but feel like I should get another reel for swim baits
That dc will be okay for really small swimbaits but might need a 200/300 size reel for bigger baits

Nice catch in the beginning. Been wanting to do one of these for a while. Went up the weekend before this tournament off the Schoolhouse Campground and fished around the salt river inlet. Saturday morning, didn't seem to matter what I threw, they were just chompin at the bit.

Yes you are correct but we’re out of the race for angler of the year. So I wanted to make sure I had time to record some footage.
