@@EWAAAR yes and no, all very local to me and a lot happened quite close together. Went to Shrub Hill this morning to catch a couple there from a different perspective but it didn't quite go to plan 😁

The colour light signal used to be a semaphore as well years ago.

Yeah more and more are sadly disappearing as time marches on.

You say that but it's surprising how much the ground actually shakes when trains go past, it's not so bad with freight as it goes slower but the Cross Country 220s and GWR 800s that pass at speed really shake the ground and it makes me wonder if stuff in the house rattles!

@@wyldslanerail I don't get many freight trains in my area but when I do it does seem like its always the same locos.

No worries I've done the same myself. Just saying good catch and it was nice of the driver to give a little wave and a tone.

Was luck more than anything. Didn't know it was running today. Got home from work to find it was running and was about 100 minutes early so managed to catch it while it was still light.

Cheers, nothing that interesting but there has been nothing by me for the best part of 2 weeks so thought I should get some practice in if nothing else.

@@EWAAAR I think Network Rail were working just out of view to the right as everyone was sounding a horn but this time they seemed to do it really early.

Network Rail have really cut back the bushes trackside and I went out with a pair of loppers and cut back the overgrowth on my side of the fence to really open up the view 😊

Yeah, bit lucky, it is actually a local companies yard but they are cool with letting me film there 😀

Thanks, must admit I wasn't impressed though, despite what it looks like on the video the whole train was very grubby and dirty looking. It had only come from Bristol a couple of hours earlier so doubt it picked up that much dirt in that amount of time.

Tend to do most of my filming around Worcester, might venture a little further now and again but never go too far.

There isn't a great deal loco wise to see at Worcester, certainly nothing like it used to be when I was younger. Tend to get the same stuff day after day with the odd ROG/GBRF movement once/twice a week but even then it tends to be the same locos doing any moves.

It came by again today 4/9/24

This was over 2 hours late by the time it passed me. 69011 had already completed 5Q85 Eastleigh Traction & Rolling Stock Maintenance Depot to Long Marston MOD earlier in the day. I had a feeling it would also be doing this run as well even though originally they were scheduled to run just 10 minutes apart.
