The Net Fellowship Church
เข้าร่วมเมื่อ 19 ก.พ. 2008
The Net Fellowship is a Church for all ages with a focus on reaching the emerging generation. We seek, in an imperfect way, to be a genuine and authentic expression of God's heart for each other and for the world.
Our focus on reaching the emerging generation takes a number of avenues beginning with our children. As they grow older we must seek out effective ways to remain culturally and intellectually relevant. Our ministry seeks to build a cultural bridge to the younger generations while maintaining a smart but solid Biblical focus. We are not afraid of addressing the pressing issues and trends of our day nor are we intimidated by a culture that is becoming increasingly cynical of the Bible. There are good solid answers for the skeptic. We believe in the power of God to reach and transform a hard heart and we rely on the actual presence of God to mingle among us when we come together to worship.
We are located at 2029 Flour Bluff Dr. Corpus Christi, Texas 78414

Don't be Deflected from God's Calling | Pastor Glenn Holland
This message is from our Sunday morning service on December 29th, 2024. The Net Fellowship is a Church for all ages with a focus on reaching the emerging generation.
At The Net, we believe the Church is meant to be a family and community before it's a business. We seek, in an imperfect way, to be a genuine and authentic expression of God's heart for each other and for the world.

Do You Tip Your Server? | Pastor Glenn Holland
I forgot you were in that movie! Seriously, thanks for sharing your testimony. God is using you to make a difference for his kingdom. "You are the light if the world" (Matthew 5:14).
Neutrality is against the nature of God. You are either for Christ and all his Holiness or you are on the Worlds side. You can NOT pledge allegiance to both !!! You better speak up now if you are expecting God to speak up for you, on Judgement day 🙏.
I thought this would be a sermon on why the church sleeps, as in not focusing on the kingdom of God. But it is all about why the church is not more involved in American politics. This is what the Gospel is reduced to if the hope for America is the church. But the hope for the world is Jesus Christ and his Kingdom. This is Short sighted almost to the point of blindness.
WE MUST MAKE A CHOICE OF WHO TO FOLLOW WHO TO FEAR WHO TO OBEY WHO TO WORSHIP WHO TO SERVE WHO TO BELIEVE (TRUST) WE MUST MAKE A CHOICE BETWEEN THE GOOD, HOLY, RIGHTEOUS, TRUE, SURE, TRUSTFUL, WONDERFUL, PRECIOUS, WAY, LIGHT AND LIFE GIVEN LAW OF THE MOST HIGH LORD YEHOVAH THE TRUE GOD AND THE CONTRADICTORY, BLASPHEMOUS AND RELIGIOUS ANTILAW ERRORS OF OTHERS INCLUDING PAUL AND WHOSOEVER. Beware of false pastors (shepherds) Beware of false prophets Beware of false priests Beware of false princes Beware of false anointeds (mashiachs, christs) Beware of those with wrong might They are deceptive tempting misleaders like the serpent Never allow the error of any man become your own error to send you to hell. The man may repent of his error without your knowledge and the merciful God Yehovah will forgive and grant him life while who chose to be his sycophant die in that his error and perish The word of God Yehovah is truth The law of God Yehovah is truth The commandments of God Yehovah are truth The ordinances of God Yehovah are truth The testimony of God Yehovah is sure, trustful and righteous The precepts of God Yehovah are sure The word of God Yehovah stand forever The counsel of God Yehovah stand forever The most high God Lord, Husband, King, Lawgiver, Covenantgiver, Judge, Creator, Begetter, Father, Saviour is everlasting and lives and reigns eternally Isaiah 33:22 ASV For Jehovah is our judge, Jehovah is our lawgiver, Jehovah is our king; he will save us. Isaiah 42:8,21 ASV I am Jehovah, that is my name; and my glory will I not give to another, neither my praise unto graven images. [21] It pleased Jehovah, for his righteousness' sake, to magnify the law, and make it honorable. Psalm 138:2 ASV I will worship toward thy holy temple, And give thanks unto thy name for thy lovingkindness and for thy truth: For thou hast magnified thy word above al,l thy name. Isaiah 8:13,16,20 ASV Jehovah of hosts, him shall ye sanctify; and let him be your fear, and let him be your dread. [16] Bind thou up the testimony, seal the law among my disciples. [20] To the law and to the testimony! if they speak not according to this word, surely there is no morning for them. Deuteronomy 13:1-5 ASV If there arise in the midst of thee a prophet, or a dreamer of dreams, and he give thee a sign or a wonder, [2] and the sign or the wonder come to pass, whereof he spake unto thee, saying, Let us go after other gods, which thou hast not known, and let us serve them; [3] thou shalt not hearken unto the words of that prophet, or unto that dreamer of dreams: for Jehovah your God proveth you, to know whether ye love Jehovah your God with all your heart and with all your soul. [4] Ye shall walk after Jehovah your God, and fear him, and keep his commandments, and obey his voice, and ye shall serve him, and cleave unto him. [5] And that prophet, or that dreamer of dreams, shall be put to death, because he hath spoken rebellion against Jehovah your God, who brought you out of the land of Egypt, and redeemed thee out of the house of bondage, to draw thee aside out of the way which Jehovah thy God commanded thee to walk in. So shalt thou put away the evil from the midst of thee. Jeremiah 2:8 ASV The priests said not, Where is Jehovah? and they that handle the law knew me not: the rulers also transgressed against me, and the prophets prophesied by Baal, and walked after things that do not profit. Jeremiah 11:21 ASV Therefore thus saith Jehovah concerning the men of Anathoth, that seek thy life, saying, Thou shalt not prophesy in the name of Jehovah, that thou die not by our hand; Jeremiah 23:10-11,13-17,21,26-27,35-37 ASV For the land is full of adulterers; for because of swearing the land mourneth; the pastures of the wilderness are dried up. And their course is evil, and their might is not right; [11] for both prophet and priest are profane; yea, in my house have I found their wickedness, saith Jehovah. [13] And I have seen folly in the prophets of Samaria; they prophesied by Baal, and caused my people Israel to err. [14] In the prophets of Jerusalem also I have seen a horrible thing: they commit adultery, and walk in lies; and they strengthen the hands of evil-doers, so that none doth return from his wickedness: they are all of them become unto me as Sodom, and the inhabitants thereof as Gomorrah. [15] Therefore thus saith Jehovah of hosts concerning the prophets: Behold, I will feed them with wormwood, and make them drink the water of gall; for from the prophets of Jerusalem is ungodliness gone forth into all the land. [16] Thus saith Jehovah of hosts, Hearken not unto the words of the prophets that prophesy unto you: they teach you vanity; they speak a vision of their own heart, and not out of the mouth of Jehovah. [17] They say continually unto them that despise me, Jehovah hath said, Ye shall have peace; and unto every one that walketh in the stubbornness of his own heart they say, No evil shall come upon you. [21] I sent not these prophets, yet they ran: I spake not unto them, yet they prophesied. [26] How long shall this be in the heart of the prophets that prophesy lies, even the prophets of the deceit of their own heart? [27] that think to cause my people to forget my name by their dreams which they tell every man to his neighbor, as their fathers forgat my name for Baal. [35] Thus shall ye say every one to his neighbor, and every one to his brother, What hath Jehovah answered? and, What hath Jehovah spoken? [36] And the burden of Jehovah shall ye mention no more: for every man's own word shall be his burden; for ye have perverted the words of the living God, of Jehovah of hosts our God. [37] Thus shalt thou say to the prophet, What hath Jehovah answered thee? and, What hath Jehovah spoken? Micah 3:5-8 ASV Thus saith Jehovah concerning the prophets that make my people to err; that bite with their teeth, and cry, Peace; and whoso putteth not into their mouths, they even prepare war against him: [6] Therefore it shall be night unto you, that ye shall have no vision; and it shall be dark unto you, that ye shall not divine; and the sun shall go down upon the prophets, and the day shall be black over them. [7] And the seers shall be put to shame, and the diviners confounded; yea, they shall all cover their lips; for there is no answer of God. [8] But as for me, I am full of power by the Spirit of Jehovah, and of judgment, and of might, to declare unto Jacob his transgression, and to Israel his sin. Zechariah 1:3-6 ASV Therefore say thou unto them, Thus saith Jehovah of hosts: Return unto me, saith Jehovah of hosts, and I will return unto you, saith Jehovah of hosts. [4] Be ye not as your fathers, unto whom the former prophets cried, saying, Thus saith Jehovah of hosts, Return ye now from your evil ways, and from your evil doings: but they did not hear, nor hearken unto me, saith Jehovah. [5] Your fathers, where are they? and the prophets, do they live for ever? [6] But my words and my statutes, which I commanded my servants the prophets, did they not overtake your fathers? and they turned and said, Like as Jehovah of hosts thought to do unto us, according to our ways, and according to our doings, so hath he dealt with us. 1 Kings 18:21 ASV And Elijah came near unto all the people, and said, HOW LONG GO YE LIMPING BETWEEN THE TWO SIDES? IF JEHOVAH BE GOD, FOLLOW HIM; but if Baal, then follow him. And the people answered him not a word. Exodus 32:26 ASV then Moses stood in the gate of the camp, and said, WHOSO IS ON JEHOVAH'S SIDE, let him come unto me. And all the sons of Levi gathered themselves together unto him. Joshua 24:14-15,24-25 ASV Now therefore FEAR JEHOVAH, AND SERVE HIM IN SINCERITY AND IN TRUTH; and put away the gods which your fathers served beyond the River, and in Egypt; and serve ye Jehovah. [15] And if it seem evil unto you to serve Jehovah, CHOOSE YOU THIS DAY WHOM YE WILL SERVE; whether the gods which your fathers served that were beyond the River, or the gods of the Amorites, in whose land ye dwell: but as for me and my house, we will serve Jehovah. [24] And THE PEOPLE SAID UNTO JOSHUA, JEHOVAH OUR GOD WILL WE SERVE, and UNTO HIS VOICE WILL WE HEARKEN. [25] So Joshua made a covenant with the people that day, and set them a statute and an ordinance in Shechem.
Looking good, Glenn!

Once again, Pastor, you have done a wonderful job explaining the truth on the subject. If only you could teach all of this at some Pastors conferences. I salute you my brother.
I follow the ministries of the Institute for Creation Research and Answers in Genesis so I will listen to what you have to say about this topic.
All fossils are transitional. Are you a skilled liar or ignorant to an incredible degree?
Thomas Jefferson's draft of the Declaration of Independence indeed contained a condemnation of the slave trade. But the Continental Congress edited it out of the final draft of the Declaration because they knew it would be enormously hypocritical for the Thirteen Colonies to denounce the slave trade when they were reaping enormous profits from the ownership of slaves.
Darwinian Evolution only conflicts with Christian religion if you take Genesis literally. You have to separate the esoteric from the exoteric and realize that the facts of modern biology (i.e. evolutionary theory) can only serve to confirm Metaphysical principles.
This series promises to become a big laugh 😂. Pseudo scientific Christian B.S. At the same time the “creators” of this epic series are using the most advanced technology that was developed by using the same scientific method that Darwin used to develop his theory. NOT the bible. Why are there so many bible bashing uneducated people in the US? Greetings from Holland.
You haven't even heard their ideas and propositions yet you slander them. You forget that scientific books have been written by humans. Humans make mistakes and they are corruptable. Let us also not forget that we weren't there a million years ago. So who knows what happened then? So lets listen to the guy first.
No fact or theory that has come from modern science can enter the domain of Metaphysics which is ultimately what True Spirituality seeks to describe via the Intellect as opposed to modern, exoteric religiosity. I would stay away from most Theologians as they tend to take Scriptures literally. I would recommend reading Transcendent Unity of Religions by Frithjof Schuon for an overview of the various Rays of Spirituality which emanate from the Sun or Source. Also, the Reign of Quantity by Rene Guenon goes into good detail on Profane science vs Sacred science and their respective domains. Greetings from SC, USA.

Excellent sermon with appropriate supporting text and reasoning. You have great delivery with sincere passion. Of course we can identify firsthand with the 4:30 PG description and its special unique ministry and valid emotional involvement with the Body of Christ. J&M
"The Lord giveth and the Lord taketh," is not a true statement. God REBUKED Job for saying it.
Pastor, did you know that, concerning giving, or tithing, or prosperity, Malachi 3:8-12 is not the full counsel of God? It is an excerpt, quoted to the church for centuries (believe it or not), which is a misrepresentation of God's counsel. We've accepted it because that's what we have always been taught. Here are a few points to consider. -- Who did God appoint to receive tithes? God said, "And, behold, I have given the children of Levi all the tenth [the tithe] in Israel for an inheritance, for their service which they serve, even the service of the tabernacle of the congregation (Numbers 18:21). In this scripture, God established who receives the tithe (the Levites), and why they received it (they received no inheritance, and they served in the temple). This assignment is exclusive to Levites. A pastor cannot assume this assignment, he has never been scripturally assigned by God to collect tithes, he is not a Levite. In that same sense, only a Levite, never a pastor, could ever serve in a Jewish temple. The church has not replaced the Jewish temple, and pastors have not replaced Levites. -- People are blessed when they give, not because of Malachi 3, which is based on the Law of Moses, an Old Testament law that has been replaced by Grace under Christ, at the cross. They are blessed because Jesus said, "Give, and it will be given to you: good measure, pressed down, shaken together, and running over will be put into your bosom. For with the same measure that you use, it will be measured back to you" (Luke 6:38). It is this principle of giving and receiving at work, when we give and are blessed. Not the expired law of tithing, which was required of the Jews (never Gentiles), and could only be received by Levite priests because they received no inheritance and were set apart to work fully in the Jewish temple. -- There is much more to this, such as Abraham's tithe to Melchizedek, Jacob's promise to tithe, the history of when and why the New Testament church tithes (there is actually a date!), and the biblical support for all these truths. To be clear, every pastor has a right to collect offerings in support of the ministry; I fully agree with supporting the church financially. But our giving must be godly. It is wrong to require people to tithe, contrary to the scriptures, then say that we live according to the scriptures. If you're interested in learning more, I have researched and written about this in "Tither, You Are Free!" Blessings to you and your ministry!
"One more step" is what I kept telling myself on the Big Bend trip as I was rolling down a mountain in the dark...
For some reason there is no sound 🤔
Such a good sermon! Listening a second time.

For sure we need to be. United!
Watching from Austin! Love y'all
Great series! I thoroughly enjoyed it. It was put together very well and the logic is hard to ignore. 1) Is the feasibility study available? 2) Is part 6 online?
Thank you for watching Paul. The feasibility study is offered via ICR.org
Our apologies. Our media team had a bit of a transition and it seems that part 6 was never uploaded. We have put in a message regarding to the team leader. Hopefully will be resolved soon.

I think that yes, Jesus was nice to the people and with the people that He connected with. Just like anybody else. He was the light and the shadow. He broth salvation and death, Jesus was the unification of both. Even until the end, to his companions during his crucifixion he said whom he was and the message he came to tell. Prince of light so of darkness. From One he came and to One he shall return, to the Father of his Father, and the Father before him. He will prepare the way for you and I, Just like we should do for our children. <3
