you didn't really say how you get noticed by specific schools though. my son is on twitter and field level, which both seem to be providing very good exposure. we are finding that the club "top team" is basically the bigger kids but not always the best players... there seems to be an obsession with kids already in their man bodies yet we also hear that the younger looking great player is more appealing... bottom line think deeply if that $5k per year program is even going to help your son with college contacts/exposure. the fear of missing out is a constant issue as well...there are minimal solid options for summer outside of the club model in our area.

Good advice. Also worth mentioning ... More and more elite players are committing to D1 mid major programs as they have a greater opportunity to play sooner than later. Often, I hear of a kid committing to a P5 program who either doesn't play until their junior year or never gets an opportunity to play at all.

the kid i know who got “noticed” at a college camp got clocked throwing 90 some odd mph from the outfield. just saying. it didn’t sound like they cared a whole hell of a lot about his swing mechanics at the plate. they saw him hit that high on radar and were instantly interested.

I assume “ develop” is build muscle, exit velo, throwing velo, speed , overall physique… I’ve been reading that’s what you need. If this is what you mean then that’s good advice, because I have been griping that we play too much ball that we don’t have time to workout and get stronger and work on a throwing and bat speed program, we got up at 6 the last two days drove an hour and a half and played two games and then drove home it was like 9pm when we got home . No time to do anything else.

I am in 11th grade, I'm born in September, I nee to grow, and continue my physical maturity, indeed I'm 16 and still look more like a kid than a teenager (no beard, no hairs...), and my dad is 6'5 and grew up late.Should I recalls or do a postgrad year. I think that if you are good in 11th grade you'll be very good in 10th grade so may have more opportunity, than just do post grad, if you're agree with that what should I say to the coach because he told be to the a postgrad year, but I don't think so. If someones know what is the best, explain me why, and how to reclassify if you think that is the best, please.

if you want just tell your school that you want to reclass. they’ll probably help you, it’s kinda different at every school district. some of them haven’t had a situation where a student wants to reclass so you might have to ask real nicely if they can do something that they normally never do. good luck 👍
