Croatian Band Est. 1998-2013, Hamilton, ON, Canada

In 1998, five Canadian-Croatian band mates decided to start a music project inspired by love of culture and passion for Croatian music. Having played together for a year, the idea of an album came to fruition with the goal of capturing the energy of Domovina’s live performances. The first album was mainly comprised of covers of popular music from different regions of Croatia. It also introduced the original song Jedina Ljubav written and produced by band lead vocalist & guitarist Michael Starčević. Jedina Ljubav gained popularity on Croatian radio and with diaspora in North America, Europe and Australia.

Members of Domovina, Michael Starčević, Robert Kovačić Sr, John Rogolja, Nick Popovački, Michael Starešinić and later Ivan Petračić & Tom Živčić would like to thank friends, family and fans for their support and encouragement to finally release these albums on digital platforms.
