@lornareyna6662 Hi lornareyna6662! I love that you have Pestilence the Smoldering Reaper; he’s such a cool animatronic! I’m glad to hear you were able to figure out the adapter issue. As for the noise while he’s moving, you’re right that motors often benefit from a little lubrication. To oil the motor, you typically want to find any small openings or seams in the casing. Use a lightweight machine oil (like 3-in-1 oil) and apply just a drop or two to the motor’s moving parts (try to find whats making the noise, also if gears are worn out they can also start to get loud, a friend with a 3d printer can certainly help you out to get a new one made by providing them the worn out piece.) - but yeah, you can use oil ..don’t overdo it! If you can’t find a way to access the motor, you might try gently prying open any accessible areas of the casing, but be careful not to damage anything. @@SpookifyDIY So I opened up the casing to the gears and as I pulled the top off some pins fell out so I'll have to figure out where everything goes. I found that one of the super tiny gears has a crack, I believe the size might be 102A so I ordered it from Amazon and it will be here tomorrow. Also the rubber pulley band seems to be worn. I don't know what size it is but went to Ace Hardware and found something I hope will work. I've seen some videos where small rubber bands are used. I don't trust those to hold out long in AZ with our heat. I should have everything I need tomorrow and hopefully I can get this guy up and running in time for Halloween. I'll be watching for your upcoming videos. I have a couple of other old items I'd like to fix, one of which is an old Spirit Coat Rack monster. He hasn't worked for a couple of years. The voice part works but he doesn't do the pop up portion where his arms and head raise up and his eyes light up. Anyway, thank you for responding. I"m new to trying any repairs and know nothing about wiring, etc. But I plan to learn!!!
