The Blind Pass you have to pass three, so in your example you passed 2 tiles to left, you would get one more from the person on your right coming to you. They only passed one they need to get 3. She will grab 2 from her right. to give you three. Than you will choose of the three (not looking) you would like to give to the person on your left to complete the 3 tiles you need to pass. The other example is interesting if all players want to pass zero tiles and you pass one. Your table should all agree to stop the Charleston and do the optional across to end the Charleston. the optional across might also not happen because no one has tiles to pass except your with one. Hope these rules will be helpful in your next game of Mah Jongg.

The colors signify to use a suit of the three (bams, craks, dots) and the color does not indicate which suit, just a suit needs to be used. One color = one suit, two colors = two suits and three colors = all three suits. It does matter what suit you choose but where color matches suit must match that you choose. @@MAHJONGGCLASS well I'm so inexperienced that i actually think i kinda started off teaching myself Chinese version first cause i didnt know what the heck the card was when playing on line and just kept trying for 4 three of a kinds and a 2 of a kind and those 3 of a kinds could be straits until i got "MAHJONG" so i thought i was pretty good till someone thru a card at me and i was like "huh?" and that's kinda where i'm at now and havent won a game since...oh well but i'm having a blast and our church Mahjong group is growing by the week and we have people from church's as well now coming...it's awesome...I'll get it eventually,....I'm retired i got time..lol

The card colors trip all up. One color equals any suit, two colors, two of any suits, and three colors. All three suits must be used. A color = a suit, not a specific suit. Reminder three suits: Bams, Craks, and Dots All the best with continuing to unravel the card. This is American Mah Jongg and I believe you are referring to Chinese Mahjong. The biggest difference is Jokers and American uses a card to make a hand. You might enjoy learning our version of the great game of Mahjong. There are all different version based on where you live and your culture. Thanks for stopping by.

@@Misskittycatcat yes good catch. Wasn’t playing a true game and was showing different situations and I was East I needed to discard. Each player should play the game with 13 tiles and on their turn will have 14 and discard will be back to 13. Thanks for pointing that out.

at 23:56 the red dragon does with the craks for Line 3 in 13579 but did not have pair of flowers. but yes it would have been a better hand. I should have looked sooner. It's great to have a second pair of eyes. Hard to see, I wanted to play concealed. That would have worked based on the future tiles I received. Bummer.
