🔥🔥🔥
❤❤❤❤❤
I'm very intrigued by this sound. It's like gritty goth with proto-ska palm muting.
🔥🔥🔥
I love it makes me want to hear more
Sweeet.
80's vibes. 😎👈 So I turned it up.
I still have copy of this and I recall hearing this just before it was released, at volume on a great system in the A&R office at the band's music publisher, Southern Music Publishing in Denmark Street ('Tin Pan Alley'), where I was working and thought it was fantastic with a great production, I loved the sleeve design too. They recorded demos in the basement studio with the in house producer whose name I wish I could remember. I knew the manager Tracy a bit too as she was often at Southern Music, she seemed like a great manager and was a lovely and stylish person and a force of nature too I remember.
sounds like vietnam
Smoking a joint and been going thru it and honestly this song is how I feel rn, but I know things will get better. I hope
thanks for uploading this!! x
Thanks for posting this!
Found an old chop shop t shirt at a second hand store, I decided to look up the band and they are so fuckin good. So happy I stumbled upon it!
Great song. Great album. These guys sure understood how to evoke a mood. Used to be perfect nodding-off music for me. But it's just as good now, years later and sober.
Cool!
I loved them and pleased to say Michelle is now a mate
Thanks! Fist time I heard this was on the “Return of Godfodder” cassette…. Wish I still had it…..

one of my favorite records.....I have a copy of the original 1983 album version
Hi! This is a bit of a long shot but here it goes! I am the lead singer Jerry Lamont's daughter Amy. I'm a film student living in London and currently developing a short documentary on Martian Dance. As my dad passed away 11 years ago and had given up music long before having kids, his past success in the band has always been a mystery to me growing up. I heard their songs for the first time ever about 5 years ago and it was (and still is) very surreal. If anyone is a fan of Martian Dance, was around during the early 80s punk scene, knew Jerry Lamont, or has any kind of information that may help me in my investigations, please rely to this comment and I would be so happy to get in touch. I have already met with the drummer of Martian Dance but am continuously looking for more contributors to the film. Thanks and happy listening! - Amy
Hello Amy, I run a facebook page about Psychobilly band The M3t3ors. The name 'Martian Dance' has cropped up a few times and one of the page members posted a photo of their bass player 'Spud' playing with The M3t3ors when original bass player Nigel Lewis had left the band in 1982. If you join the page and put a post on you might get a better response than on here. facebook.com/groups/564670997016074/
fuck yeah!
Deadsy did a pretty good live cover of this song!
Remember my mates and I singing along to this on a cassette, second year at Secondary School. Never heard it since, so thank you.
I screwed this up completely didn't I? Sorry . Delete. Johann lives in Silicon Valley. Me, Phx. I overloaded. Several songs at once.. I don't know how to clear my cache...
Hell yeah!
one of the most underrated groups back then, love this album and Vision and the Voice. BLW, its not rare, I got it on cd back in the mid 90's.. crap its 2014, that was almost twenty years ago now....guess it is....shame
meant love it and Close One Sad Eye....but love Vision and the Voice the best.
R.I.P. Lisa Kirby sadly passed away !
