Krohne Flow Meter Demo at Two Flow Rates with Watson Marlow 530 Pump
A short demo of the Krone flow meter at two flow rates in the Watson Marlow 530En pump. Test is running tap water at room temperature in 1/4" ID tubing and 1/4" Krohne flow cell. Accuracy is excellent.

Watson Marlow 300 Series Pump Head Adjustment

How to adjust your Watson Marlow 300 series pumphead for different inner diameter tubing. This works for 313, 314 and related pumpheads. The adjustment can be done on or off the pump. Flexicon Multi Capper FC10 Screw Capper

The Flexicon FC10 is an easy way to screw cap vials that can't stand up on their own. Normally you would raise these up with a pocket or puck to allow capping. The multi capper is an easier way to cap lots of vials that tip over easily.

Sir. Thank you so much for this video. We have a 620S pump with 620 RE pumpheads for tube elements. Do you know if it’s correct to use the 620RTC Continuous Tubing Clamp 069.4101.000? This is the only tube clamp I can find online. Thank you so much.
The 620RE pumpheads are made for the tubing elements as you mention. You don't use continuous tubing or tubing clamps. If you try to put a continuous tubing clamp in the RE pump head, the pump door won't close. The reason is the gap in that pumphead is set for 4.0mm wall thickness which matches the wall thickness of the Loadsure tubing elements. The continuous tubing rotor is set for 3.2mm wall thickness tubing. The wall thicknesses are not interchangeable.

Hello, please how do you remove the clamps? I want to switch the clamps to different tube size but it’s stuck and won’t come off. Thanks
When the clamps are stuck, I've used flat head screwdrivers to pry them out. I start with smaller eyeglass type screwdrivers to minimize damage to the clamps. Often dried product residue is the culprit for sticking. Warm water can sometimes help. A light tap with a rubber mallet can also work.

Hi John, I have a question. The pump has an internal calibration setting. Part of this setting, is the "Tube" parameter. Is the input for this parameter should be the inner diameter of the tubing / pipe used?
Yes, the tubing ID in mm should be used in the calibration menu. Check the black plastic tubing clamps also to make sure the ID stamped on the clamps matches the tubing ID.

Thank for the video. I want pump 100 ml/min, but cannot calculate the rpm to be set. I used the flowing formulae desird flowrate / (max flow rate/max rpm), my inner wall thickness is 1.6 mm. Could also please zoom / share pic where to adjust pump head for 1.6 mm ID, ext thickness 3.2
how do I calibrate the pump flow beyond the rpm? I need a very low flow, would it just be with the hose change? thanks
The pump in this video is the 323U pump. Its not designed to be a dispensing pump, but does have a simple dosing feature built in called "Memo Dose". Hi I have a problem with our pump I cant change the rpm rate for some reason theres a exglamation sign on screen ? If you have any ideas would be appreciated thanks
If the padlock is also showing, you've activated the keypad lock. To unlock the keypad while the pump is running hold down the START key for 2 seconds. The padlock symbol will disappear. If the pump is stopped hold down the STOP key until the padlock symbol goes away. The exclamation point is the auto-restart feature. To remove auto-restart switch off the power at the rear of the pump. Hold down the STOP key and turn the power switch on. The ! symbol will go out.

How do you turn the little knob to adjust wall thickness? Mine is stuck and this is not on the manual somehow??
You can't turn the knob to adjust for wall thickness. You either need the 4.8mm knob or 3.2mm knob depending on your tubing wall thickness. If you have the stock 4.8mm knobs and want to use 3.2mm wall tubing such as 1/2 x 3/4 or similar, you would need to order the 3.2mm knobs from Watson Marlow.
