Stair Transition Tutorial - top step to second floor
Thank you. This is exactly what I needed.
This is awesome!!
I would say find construction screws, that are made for shearing loads. These are good for tension strength, but not shear strength. Which is the force a screw sees when a door is kicked.
My husband leaves town and he will be out of the way! I am so excited to get started! Thank you for the detailed instructions!
@BrandyLockard woohoo! It's easier that way isn't it? 🤣
$250!? For a wall fan!? No thank you
@@theoneandonlyzako that's pretty standard. Especially for one that is outdoor
You really don't need to find a stud on an exterior wall. It's 1/2 in plywood
@madman19932 for a heavy fan, I definitely feel better with a stud. 1/2" isn't a lot
@@maryjo.onthego I'm a carpenter. You would be amazed. How much weight 1/2-in heathing can actually hold. I mean there's nothing wrong with finding the stud. Just not fully needed
@@maryjo.onthego definitely a stop it from getting ripped off in the wind
Not for $250
@@theoneandonlyzako well, I'm definitely not paying $250 for a corded fan. Hardwired yes, that's totally reasonable
What size plinth did you use?
@@chrismenendez6833 rstyle.me/+obVnjv50hHS-4QsL7w_O8w
@chrismenendez6833 this is what I used..
Love all your videos. I know the bigger stores will cut the wood down to size for you. Would the cut the corners of the base cap molding for you or did you do that yourself?
@sharont.725 thanks, I cut everything with my miter saw but you could ask. You could also use a miter box or pvc molding and miter shears (pvc is easier to cut)
Hi. Can you walk us through the steps and what supplies are needed?
😮😍😍😍
This is what I was looking for. Thanks!
Link to Cricut machine I used: cricut.pxf.io/zNWVqe
That’s awesome
Thank you!!
These are awesome but you still can't get it out of the house with those
Paint the side lights black also
Need a panoramic after picture

BEAUTIFULLY DONE ☝️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️☝️
thanks for sharing, it really looks beautiful.
I had cracked pine treads under my carpet. Definitely not stain grade, no matter how much hole filler you got 😂😂.New oak treads going in now!
Omg this inspired me 🙌🏻💃🏻🤘🏻✨🎯🎉💪🏻
Thanks! Loving your videos.
@jamijp10 thank you! Glad you find them helpful
Im scared to death of pulling up the carpet on my stairs. Inherited a house with past water damaged. Cant imagine the cost to repair it would be 😢
What is the color and brand of your floors?
It's Shaw LVP Fresh Take Collection in Lawson Khaki
Did you leave carpet upstairs at the very top?
Man I wish I had a gf like you! Lol
I needed this. I didn’t know this thing existed.
Looks fly
Great job 😁
Thanks ❤️
does the paint chip off from pvc moulding?
No, it's been fine
Yes. Great job. Always work in bare feet when working with staples and tack strip. Much applause 👏 sorry my bad English.
Exactly what I needed to see! I'm on my way to Lowe's now!
Thanks, you just helped me so much.
Glad you found it helpful!
You get them on Amazon?
liketk.it/4EMa0
Yes, they are in my Storefront. Here is the link if you are interested
Easy solution is to just not do the flooring under the bed at all. You dont see it anyways 😂
i need all of these😱
Don't forget 1 in each hinge.
Great video. God bless you :)
Oh dear 😮did you land on your nose i hope you are okay? ❤and very well done that was a tough floor.
Thanks! Only my pride was hurt 😂

White colour white did you use ?
Sherwin Williams Alabaster
How did you build that platform that you put your washer and dryer on? That’s actually really cool.
Thanks! I have a video tutorial. I built a laundry pedestal and added casters 🙌
@@maryjo.onthego Thank you. I’ll go check it out
So inspiring! And step by step with names of tools, screenshots to take, and finishing techniques so it looks smooth and professional, just what I need! Thank you!❤
This is the tutorial I was looking for. My adult son was trying out my granddaughters hoverboard and ate it right into the back wall of our kitchen island like yours. Huge crack in the back wall. I've been wanting to paint our cabinets so I'll start first with fixing the island like yours. Great inspiration and tips thank you.
I think your ideas are great
Great job i will update mine this way as well thanks
