I really didn’t have a good experience with this game. I only became set on finishing it because I really wanted to play that bonus mission at the end, as it never actually happened in the EOE movie. I struggled on almost every mission even the supposedly easy ones as the QTE’s are extremely picky about how it wants you to input the buttons. For example, when up against Sahaquiel you can’t just mash the A and C buttons as fast as you can; you have to do it at a VERY specific pace to get it to respond but are given no indication as to how fast or slow. Not to mention, the missions that center around aiming were awful for me, as the reticule was extremely sensitive and slippery. I could never get my aim to stay still.

I love Evangelion & this song. When my father suddenly passed away at 49 from Covid in 2020, I’d listen to this song all night for months. I can relate to Shinji when it comes to feeling lost in this world.
