Crazy that Sword & Shield was only a few years ago and this song is already making me all nostalgic...I still remember my excitement from seeing the trailer for the first time, showing off overworld Pokemon (at 0:51), Dynamax and gym stadium battles (at 2:11) all with this banger of a song in the background! My hype for these games was through the roof PLEASE GAMEFREAK, TPC, NINTENDO, ANYONE, RELEASE THIS SONG

I can't believe they made such an awesome song for the game, and then never released it officially. It's really strange. Like they had the Ed Sheeran song in the credits of SV and that was a great song (in my opinion), so I assume they planned to do a similar thing for SwSh but ended up scrapping it :( which is crazy because this song is such a banger and deserved an actual release
The irony of this song sickens me. It's supposed to signify new adventures, new beginnings, new experiences. Let's take a look at all that in Sword & Shield, shall we? The new adventures - bland and patronisingly, INSIDIOUSLY hand-holding. The new beginnings - a colossal step back from what we had before. The new experiences - WHAT new experiences? It's the same tired old Pokémon tropes we're all sick of at this point, dumbed down to their most bland and basic. Remind me again how Sword & Shield are 'good games', all you desperate defenders of them? No, really, enlighten me. Try to un-ironically enlighten me to that 'fact', I fucking dare you.
And dont forget the paywall pokemon and fucking %50+ increase of price for the base game, an unfinished product :D

I think rushed is a better description. Games like BOTW take years to develop, and GF is forcing the devs to make a game every year now. That’s just not sustainable. If anything, the SwSh DLC shows what GF are capable of when they have enough time. Crown Tundra especially is miles better than anything in base SwSh
