Every time I would yell or sigh in frustration he would laugh. This is a game to him. I think I’m going insane. These riddles have to mean something. It’s a threat obviously. I need to figure it out before someone else gets hurt. I can’t let another person get hurt. Not after-. I cut myself off. Keep it out of sight out of mind. I go back to my notes. I reread his riddles. I play back the recordings. My sister thinks I should get help to figure out the riddles. But this seems like some sort of final battle. After working the case for months. If I figure this out then I know I’m actually worthy. I take a breath and work over everything I already have.
