My only (very, very minor) complaint is that I ordered this in bronze and they sent me black. Yes, it should have been corrected, but we were only in country for a short period of time and I didn't want to run the risk of not getting a new one in time. I'm such a fan of Samsung Galaxy tablets that I'd rather suck it up than lose out on having it. In the big scheme of things, this rates an irritant factor of .0000000001 out of 1000. In other words, I'm not looking at the colors when I use it, so I got over it very easily.

If you have to ask, you can't afford it...

Since my tablet is locked out permanently, it won't allow me to power down. Hard reset buttons and reboot with volume up and power keys doesn't work. Even when plugged into a PC or mac. Any help here???

Okay another inarticulate beginner who mumbles. Clear and concise, he can't enunciate anything clearly as he grumbles. I could glean very little, told, from your confused mumbling. to whoever might be in a situation of tablet locked, and can't shut. just know that it work great too, just connect it via cable to a pc and pwr+down, as soon as the screen goes black pwr+up and it goes into recovery. it worked for me, i hope it can for u too. thanks bud, i owe u one!

Do you need a special app for it?

This is the only method that worked for me! I forgot my pin and was locked out, unable to remote unlock or remote wipe. What I did was: 1. Connect the device to a computer. I used a Mac. 2. Force power off (hold Power + Volume Down) 3. Once the screen goes black, start holding Power + Volume up. That got me into the factory reset menu. Thanks so much!!!

Mine wont power down because it asks for the pattern unlock which my son has forgotten. and within that screen down in the left corner, it says its in "safemode"!! What do I do???
