Hey friends! Thanks for visiting my youtube channel! This is where I'll be attempting to document and share various nature themed videos as I work with the land here on our small seven acre property. I'll post about our little DIY solar powered shed cabin as well as foraging videos or plant-based cooking ideas etc. Might even have a musical video tossed in here and there - basically this is my online creative space to express myself so I appreciate any support. I mean if you're reading this, I already appreciate you! Subscribe and stay a while or introduce yourself in the comments!
A tree falls in the forest… | Spring Vlog
Trying to get back to sharing more of my love of nature with others. Clearing up the trails before the season hits is on my project list. In this vlog I bring you along to show some of the new trails I've been working on and bringing a few fallen trees out of the way.

Garden Bath Reality Check: 365 Days Later (Things I Wish I Knew)
มุมมอง 626ปีที่แล้ว
If I could do it all over again I would make a few changes to the way we constructed the hippie hot tub in our garden. In this video, I highlight a few of the things I wish I knew and what I might do differently - in hopes that it may prevent someone out there from making the same mistakes I did. I also feature a few of the positives and ways I use the tub today. Thanks for watching - please le...

Good behind
I am watching this while stepped on a nail
I’ve been rewilding our front, sides and backyard ever since learning about the importance of supporting native plants for bees and other pollinators. Planting Coral Honeysuckle is great for Ruby-throated hummingbirds in the spring and summer. In fall the Northern Mockingbird eats the red berries. Later on when the berries dry, thrushes passing through benefit and find them tasty. Snowberry moth caterpillars and other moth species use this as a host plant during summer months. That just one of many great native plants that can be added to our gardens. Hope your video short inspires many! Thx.
Hello , please remove the two metal stakes, they have sharp corners which in high wind will damage the bark and trunk, nice video Thanks.
Are u ok???😢😢
Amazing
what song is that
Thanks for sharing your video, you've inspired me to buy the goal zero bolder 100 watt solor panel recently to use with my yeti 400 (agm). A lot of people seen a new goal zero product called the skylight which I've also bought. Haven't gone camping yet but I am getting myself setup for the time I will begin the next chapter in my life of being a snowbird. ( coming very soon ).
I'm a tree hugger, but hippies suck.
Clickbait with a bikini top. She’s got a lustful spirit covering her and is one of those attention seeking girls.
I got the1000th like. Wooo!
Amazing 😮
Always fun to watch you doing the things you love.
Absolutely 100% Thank you sweetheart ✨🦅🌊🌲🙏🏾🪶❤️🤗
I love your videos always Abby!
A fine tree to grow for sure. I think I would call them ‘obscure’ as opposed to ‘rare’ these days. Most good garden centers will carry them in areas where they are hardy. That was not the case in the 80s when I started in the business. I love everything in that family and grow all of them now. Even though I do not grow the straight species, I do have two ‘Urban Spire’ which are very upright and narrow ( narrower) and one ‘Ogon’ which has bright yellow foliage that shines like beacon against the red bark. A truly magnificent sight
The municipality came and massacred the property next to mine, simply because I made a request to buy it (to save the trees). But they decided that they need to "clean" the property before selling it to me.... "Cleaning" to them, meant cutting down all the trees that I wanted to save - taking what they can use as fire-wood, and leaving the rest where it fell. Shortly thereafter I discovered two of these being sold in the same bin as the rose bushes at my local hardware store (in Eastern Europe). I planted one at each end of the property that was massacred about two months ago - to fill in the tremendous gaps that were created by the mindless bureaucrats' senseless destruction - and to honor all the trees that were senselessly killed because of their absolute soulless stupidity. The trees are still babies, but they have doubled in size since I planted them (they are almost knee-high). I may not be around to see them reach their full height. But I am happy that I get to watch them grow - and to honor all the others that were cut down and destroyed.
Beautiful looking tree 🎄 ❤...
I got chronic pancreatitis 6 years ago and ever since then I haven't been able to live or function without having plants animals or nature in my life at least a lil gardening even helps regulate my mood
This is beautiful, it's so incredible how nature can help us heal or allow our minds space for growth. Thank you for sharing I think this statement alone is really powerful. <3
I love planting trees, and my wife says I live to populate the world with more trees, mostly because they glorify our creator and bring us needed shade and home for wildlife. I've lost some very big, beautiful trees in my yard to abnormal cold (Palms), lightning strikes (Pine trees) wind storms (oak trees); and even the county which is widening our storm drains and considered our 150 yr old loblolly pine in the way and sawed it down, but trees have no soul, therefore I would never consider "hugging" a tree. Hugging my grandkids, my wife, my kids and other friends and family members yes. But that's just me. One another note, I planted a small dawn redwood in the mountains of Serbia where we just bought a weekend home. I'm planning on planting some giant redwoods, cypress and cedar trees when I get there next month.
you're such a free spirit :) I loved your video!! I recently found a cast iron tub off FB marketplace and I've finally fiished unloading and setting it up in my greenhouse. That tub was HEAVY! Have fun fire bathing!
I get lots of hummingbirds in California so I bought them containers to drink from, and I’m also growing Sunflowers for honeybees and bumblebees, Rosemary to ward off pests, and a bunch of Redwood trees! I’m planning on buying a small greenhouse so I can grow carrots, beets, more rosemary, potatoes, lettuce, tomatoes and basil from seeds 🥰
Super ❤.
Yes! Finally! I am ready for the greenery and warmth to come back!
You've created such a cozy oasis. Congratulations!
Beautiful Redwood thank you for sharing! 💚🌲💚
I recently planted out 5 dawn redwoods I grew from seed (collected in city parks). Hoping they get huge in my lifetime !
I just got the same setup. 100 boulder and a 1500x. Thinking of getting another 100 boulder. Have you used the 600watt wall charger ?
Nice bum
Oh retrospect😅 I feel that so much with so many of my DIY projects and the perfectionist in me wants to redo them when things don’t work out as I had envisioned but with my wildly creative brain there’s never enough time to do all the things I can see possible and would love to do. YOU are magic!!🙌🏻🌿💫 Thank you for sharing❤️🔥🙏🏻
I feel you. I follow you on Twitter and have for a long while. I deeply resonate with how you exist in the world and I’m so glad I stumbled upon your TH-cam!!🥰Thank you for being you and for sharing your journey. You inspire me!!❤️🔥🌿🙌🏻
It's pretty sad that in today's society what people have to do or feel they have to do for views🙄🙄🙄
Thanks for the input - I literally walk around topless all the time at home though lol but hey the human body is beautiful, sensuality is expression and creativity in motion, if you don't enjoy it feel free to browse elsewhere. Sending you love!
@@AbbyUnEarthed I understand.. my comment meant without stating that you're great regardless top on or off.. that's for you to choose. Unlike most men these days I'm into you and your personality not how much skin your showing. Thanks for your reply and time though. Much appreciated
Good behind, how u
It is so good to reconnect with mother earth and get that healing back to us again. I love barefoot, walking and grounding. Just came across your channel today. Wishing you and yours the very best in life. Take care
Yay! So cute! They sound so happy munching away. <3
💚
Always refreshing to see you Abby and I have to laugh as you say "shit" a much as I do. Lol
Haha I noticed that while editing - I didn't realize what a foul mouth I have! Bahaha! Thanks for watching!
Looks like a very peaceful spot to set up your garden bath. Too bad about the logistical challenges. You look amazing in that blue bikini by the way. Thank you for sharing your nature adventures with us!
So nice to watch along again. It has definitely been a while and your vlog has been missed in my TH-cam routine.
I hope the changing season brings you some brighter days, to help make up for the longer nights and the difficult Summer; sending you and your entire human and non-human family positive thoughts and energy. That little lobster (or crayfish?) in the river was SO cute, too! P.S. Have you ever considered a Murphy type bed for the cottage? You could fold it up into the wall when you're not using it, or whenever you felt like having some extra floor space.
Oh John, thank you so much! I always appreciate your positive energy and support! :) The Murphy bed - I've heard of that before, I'll have to look more into it because yeah it actually might be perfect for this little space if we can rig something like that up. Easier than moving around pallets that's for sure lol. (PS and I'll post more piggy videos for you too!)
Awesome! Love the video you are doing great!
Thank you so much! 🙏🏼
What a cool idea.
After spending a winter in Colorado I got spoiled with the hot springs there. I am in the process of setting up my own “hot springs” back on the east coast to experience the duality of cool air and hot water.
Wow, beautiful
I love Ontario in Canada ❤. 4 times I was with you...
