Defeat You- Your Favorite Nemesis Animation MAP Part 18
Part 18 of Elbowstuff’s MAP! Tbh I’ve wanted to animate in a comic book style for a while, but it just never seemed fitting. It was a little tedious since I had to apply the halftone effect one frame at a time, but I like this enough to consider it worth it. This is also my first time in an AMV MAP which has got me super stoked. Though technically I was in a non-AMV MAP some years ago but the guy freaking deleted it :( So you bet I’m downloading this MAP as soon as it drops!

Animate something with smooth lines and flat colors. Render it and bring it into After Effects. Then, apply this effect to it, along with a noise overlay: blog.pond5.com/73138-create-vhs-look-after-effects/ You could also use PhotoMosh, or this blender plugin: th-cam.com/video/n-zZMiMCTYo/w-d-xo.html You’ll have to download Blender 2.8 for it to work perfectly, but that’s how I do it now. It’s free and looks better, in my opinion.

To be really honest with you, it’s not that anything happened. It’s just that the new video is taking forever!! I’ve literally been working on it for a year. It’s not that I’ve been busy or procrastinating, it’s just that the video is so ridiculously big, and I’m only one person after all. I’m still here, I’m just still in the corner animating at 3 am lol
