isn't the other way around? Japanese knives steel is harder therefore harder to sharpen, European knifes softer therefore easier to sharpen. please explain to me what did you mean by that ivan.

I am not a professional, but I have owned a chef’s knife from H. Herder since 1998, which I have used on a daily basis. The knife has stood the test of time and tool little time to sharpen and maintain its sharpness. I cannot comment on Japanese knives vs German knives, as I have never owned a Japanese knife, but I am completely satisfied with the look, functionality, sharpness, and durability of the chrome molybdenum steel blades used by H. Herder. My only complaint would be the price, but then again, I am confident these are knives that will pass down through generations so, the price is offset in my opinion. Thanks

Yes, it can measure distances much farther than 2.2 meters, but its accuracy may decrease. According to the manual, it provides measurements up to 2.2 meters with an accuracy of ±0.3°. Beyond this range, the precision might not be as reliable. I guess it depends on the application you are using it for

Yes, the glass is heavy and you have to be careful to not let it slip out of your hands. I like glass better than plastic but life is not perfect 🤩. I haven’t had any problems with leaking glass so far
