i swear my SwSh shiny luck is impossible. it took me double (shiny charm/masuda) odds to get one shiny and the knock out method takes longer than i think it shoudl? i'm a bit iffy on if i'm doing that right though I havent done egg hunting in SV to test how my luck is there but in general i have good SV shiny luck there lol. so i feel that pain so much

I did a shiny Mimikyu in sword and shield, it took over 2000+ eggs, had the charm, used a japanese ditto and everything. IT LEGIT TOOK 150 EGGS IN ULTRA MOON FOR MIMIKYU

SwSh is better for breeding than SV. The picnic slows down the process not allowing you to hatch and gather at the same time. I honestly hope day care return in gen 10

Im going to say that doing masuda methods for Galarian Corsola is probably way much more essayer that hunting it in the wild which it only appears in one place, one weather, one game because its version exclusive and it doesn't appears too frequently. But im doing it anyways because i just want to at least get one from the wild instead of cheaping it out on eggs

I'm a Masuda Method enjoyer, since September last year, I started to document how long every Shiny Pokemon I hatch. At this moment, I got 184 Shinies trought Sword/Shield, Scarlet/Violet and BDSP been a total of 93248 eggs!! And I still on my way to complete my Living Shiny Dex in Pokemon HOME. Masuda Method is the best way to keep cooler the shiny colection because you can get the target with specific rare apricot ball, nature and IVs. In my opinion: Sword/Shield is the best game to do the MM consistenly and the worst is BDSP.

What was my best masuda-shiny? Back in sun and moon, I bred a couple of pokemon 1-2 times to prepare a living dex for pokemon home. Pretty sure, I used my masuda-ditto, just cause. After being done, I went through the results, thinking "What if there was a shiny one? Haha, probably not." ... As you might have suspected, there was one, and a pretty cool one: Shiny Jangmo-o ^^

Mimikyu was my first ever Shiny hunt I completed with the Masuda Method. It took me 1000+ eggs with the shiny charm. I had it because catching pokemon in SWSH is so fun and easy bc of a lot of trade evos/specific pokemon being in the wild area. I enjoyed completing the dex so much that I completed the DLC dexes too just for fun! In SWSH I only have my shiny Mimikyu and Haxorous via the Masuda method, but I should definitely go and do more. (After I get that Arceus in Shining Pearl.)

When we all got the code for Hisuian Zorark i decided that i had wanted a shiny Hisuian Zoroark so i started my quest using the Masuda method i can't remember how many eggs it took but i finally got shiny baby boy named him Phantasma and then tragedy struck my Coral Switch Lite died and i didn't know about Pokemon Home yet well to clarify i knew about it but i just never used it which means i lost my boy forever i didn't even get a chance to bond with him 💔😭 . But as soon as i got a new switch i was able to get another Hisuian Zoroark and a foreign Ditto from a surprise trade and got my shiny baby boy back and named him Phantasma the second and immediately put him in Home this time 😂😂😂

I never go for the shiny ones because the coloring never suits me, I prefer the original ones, the difficulty isn't worth it if you end up finding them ugly lol

Make sure to not do this in BDSP. For some reason, the egg cycles require double the number of steps im that game compared to swsh and scavi...

Duskull is a baby! I love them! And the shiny looks amazing. Dusknoir is my favourite pokemon. When I shiny hunted for the static Dusknoir, I found her in around 50 encounters without the shiny charm (and perfected dex.) I love how her nature is Timid because Dusknoir doesn't look like she'd be timid. Froslass, my second favourite pokemon, took 1089 encounters. At least Dusknoir was kind to me. 🥲
