Man what an absolutely amazing place & episode! What a fantastic visual treat. Broomstick my friend you never ever disappoint. I can’t thank you enough for your efforts with the channel & content. You have fast become a favourite! Credit must be given where it’s due. As good as anything I’ve seen! Thanks for your efforts! Belated Merry Christmas & wishing you all the best for 2025! Stay safe mate, cheers!
You appear to have an awesome job, also I think the music fits quite well. Great work.
Moving up to Darwin first week in February maybe week can catchup for beer and a fishing session next time your up here
Stunning as always mate 👌
Awesome video mate.
Up in Darwin for Xmas myself. Went out to Fogg Dam birdwatching this morning... spectacular place! Love the NT.
I love your videos. Everything about its perfect apart from music. I think it doesn’t suit sometimes .But yea obviously its so hard to find good music that isn’t copyrighted. That’s just my opinion take it with a grain of salt
would love to see you come back to vic in the future beautiful area up north though
Amazing Man! Been waiting for your next one!
Nice mate! Love the drone eats that's a great way to film. Beautiful Saratoga at the end too. Cheers man! 👍🎣
you are a lucky man Mr Stick.
nice
When would be a good time to fish in Cairns? Its been on my bucket list for a long long time to head down there to enjoy the fishing. What set up would you recommend for Barras and jacks in the creeks and landbased fishing?
2:43 😂😂 probably the worst release I’ve seen on TH-cam 😂
Please do more cairns fishing and u should try jp fishing around petes bridge
Me and my mates have all ways wondered this why don't you use soft plastics
I just think hards are more fun to use hey. Slow rolling placcies is a bit tedious. I still use them sometimes though
Nice video bro, just wondering where the final final spot was cause there seemed to be more fish around there
Absolutely awesome production mate! What an amazing little film! You really have the knack for this. I love how you capture the beauty of the surroundings & all the different wildlife. I really love how you show the trip warts and all, swearing included! Brings a sense of realism to your work. In general seems like any given trip of mine with all the snags, tree’d lures & misadventure! The rewards wouldn’t be so valuable if it wasn’t for all the trials and tribulations! Mate, we live in a fool’s paradise, seriously how good is Australia! Can’t wait to get a chance to check out more of FNQ! Keep up the fantastic work and please stay safe, always anxious for a new Broomstick episode! Cheers
Appreciate that mate!
Spent my high school years in Cairns quite place back then still nice tho I tuned in reminiscening the good old days but could not recognise any of your spots bit too quick and short found meself cross eyed lol but keep up the hard work lad fantastic effort anyhow
Great video as always mate, bloody love them! Shame about the big barra, that whole part was just in shambles with the reel as well >_<
Such a cool location. Any spooky experiences from your solo camps?
Awesome vid as always Broomstick, always putting in a huge effort mate. Appreciate the time 👍
I don't know why this only has 130-odd likes at the time I watched. This is epic mate, loved it. Thanks for sharing your trip with us.
Nice video, where abouts is this mate?
You presented this so beautifully my friend! Amazing work 👏👏
I agree! Really well made for sure.
How bloody good ! Great vid 🙌🏾
Love the content bro but calm down on the swearing 🤣🤣
Another cracker of a vid mate!! To anyone thinking about buying a hammock and think it's a cool way of doing these types of hiking adventures don't do it!!! Been there done that!! Worse thing! Rain, always rocking back and forth, got to find trees ( you think it's easy but sometimes two tress together is a mission!!) I ended up getting rid of the hammock and just went a good quality hiking tent, thermal mattress and a blow up pillow, takes up as much room as the hammock, you're protected from the elements, warm, dry soooooo much better!! Hammocks are good for a beer and a relax but no sleeping! Nice one broomstick 🤙🤙
loved it
What’s the thing you use to clinch your fg knot so you don’t cut your hands?

Cool stuff mate it looks like where we used to go up th Herbert down from blenco falls, rugged walk and had to watch out for big snapping handbags that where up there to. Just to f,n old to do it now (and unfit) cheers 🦈
Awesome video mate! Love the editing, kept me engaged the whole time. What a stunning spot to fish as well!
Wish I knew this spot been hunting for something like this around cairns for ages
I would have mistaken that black-headed python for an inland taipan haha. Guess i gotta relearn my snakes incase i get bitten.
Hard slog mate, my last trip was as much the same as yours but we gotta have the bad trips to appreciate the good ones! 🤣 All in all great video and best of luck for your next trip! 👍
Awesome Thank You
Your photography and cinematography is awesome. Always look forward to a Broomstick vid...

Great video! 😃
Awesome video mate, I love the overnighters! The struggle of losing lures and having line breaking etc is real hey! Be careful too there are some mad snakes there. Good work man and thanks for sharing 👍🎣
