I main Anji since he dropped and I made tech for the character. If You want any advice I will gladly help share any of that when I can. (I will be watching the match and give pointers Through edits. - Glad to see another Anji player added to the fold. OK just saw both rounds and congrats on winning. Since you are new with the character I will tell you this. DO NOT Rely on spin so much. It its too Slow to use on reaction to things. Most of the time when you wanna use spin its mainly to preemptively Beat something your Opponent's action you have to throw it out a tiny bit more since its so slow on start up. The best way I can say this move is you kinda fishing for it. But YOU NEVER Wanna spam it. Keep it in mind. If you Spin can you catch a Light punch or Kick (or any normal you can use the follow up it has to guarantee Combo's with RC, Plus Frames if thet happen to block it, or Hard Knock down for Oki that sets up butterfly) So the next thing I'll mention is neutral wirh Anji you never wanna Throw out your crouching Havy Slash since its extremely slow. You never wanna throw it out like that. The only benefit it has is the fact its Disjointed. (This is my first time seeing yourself so I don't know if you're familiar with fighting game terminology or experience of fighting games in general. So I won't hand fist everything to you immediately.) You mainly wanna use Far Slash or Crouching Slash in neutral to help control it. You can also use your Butterfly for nutral The thing you HAVE TO KEEP IN MIND Is where and When you can throw it out safely. It has noticable start up so you never wanna do it up close because you will get punished. Or character unique tools can bypass that as well youll learn it as you play more. If you would like to know I can gladly tell you this. Anyway thats what I'll leave you with. Sorry if it's long I hope I explained some of these things to you well enough if you need me to elaborate or add any more information ill gladly do it for you. Good luck 🫡

don't use shitsu in neutral, it has a long startup that can be punished, use shitsu for oki instead :3
