It's crazy given I recall the VAs weren't all that bad in the dub, but yeesh, it's weird how they altered the script so much to make it come off like a generic action series. Not even the early Digimon dubs were this bad, and the first two anime of that franchise were riddled with 4Kids tier adlibs and jokes that, while memorable on a certain cheesy level, greatly diminished the impact of many key scenes. Would be nice to see a blu ray set for this series, kind of surprised it never got one in 2023 even though that was the 20th anniversary for this anime. And while I wouldn't get my hopes up on a redub, given how rarely those get made, it would be cool to see a faithful English localization.
