Better Call Art "The cost wide format of ink"
Another great show! Thanks guys!
Great episode!
Glad you enjoyed it Matt
This scene beautifully captured the fact that in every war there are ordinary people who rise to power and become monsters. These people are present at all times around us. They could be your friends, family, coworkers, or a random clerk. Some of histories worst war criminals and perpetrators of genocide were outwardly normal people who only became wretchedly evil when given the opportunity and lack of civilized constraints.
Thanks guys this was fun!
we enjoyed this and we should do it more often
Hola puedo imprimir sobres de medida 9x16.5 cms no encuentro la medida en las configuraciones de la impresora. Me puedes ayudar? por favor. tengo una ricoh mpc 2003
Was there in 2016, very beautiful!!
Good session Art and Greg! Just a few definitions from our perspective to help the viewers: OMR = Optical Mark Recognition is the checkboxes you were talking about Structured Documents = Data is always located in the same zone on a page, such as an W2 Tax Form Semi-Sctructured Documents = Data elements are known but the location on the page varies from document-to-document, such as an Invoice Unstructured Documents = Data elements are highly variable or unknown and no location on pages, such as Doctor's Notes This is why AI, and Natural Lanugage Processing (NLP), is really special because with traditional data capture technologies most of the Unstructured Documents were impossible to process automatically because the system could not understand unstructured language or notes. However, in the past couple years the processing of Unstructured Documents is a reality with capability such as summarization, indexing/semantic indexing and sentiment analysis.
Thank you Neal, this explanation is much appreciated!
@@artpost No problem. We do a big disservice as an industry by using too many 75-cent words and lots of acronyms that mean nothing to most people but feel good to us "insiders". Digital workflow solutions are already complicated enough for the typical end-user or even an IT salesperson to understand, so we should strive to keep things simple and easy as can be.
On my email signature line I like to put a bright eye catching, small MB image plus links to my TH-cam channel and select websites. I view my email signature line as free advertising. To me, creating TH-cam videos is a video editing hobby.
same here, I use my signature for my Linkedin references and even put in comments from clients about our services
I like Postal Code mail drops on business addresses with a tri-fold, double sided, Letter size colour flyer to help find net new business. I can print and fold and machines on my office so my cost is postage.
I also like targeted mail campaigns to select market verticals to suspected DMs.
that's cool, appreciate your comment
How did 911 get rid of receptionists as per Greg?

Me podrías ayudar? Como reemplazo el cabezal de la MP CW 2200sp, gracias 👍🏼
Impressive! The trick is to get prospective customers in there. Nice audio visual production.
I use to work on many of these, one of the best machines to work on. The options worked good, features were user friendly, very dependable always had happy customers. You could easily put 5000 copies a month on them.
I agree,450Z ran like clockwork. Made for many upgrade opportunties
I REPAIRED THIS MACHINE FOR YEARS LOVED IT EASY TO WORK ON .A TRUE GEM
such a special copier it was. They only came around so often @@billme7146
Bethlehem here reveals that he's an opportunistic bully not a real military man.
Helpful!😊
Why is this video in my recommendations, I don't even know English
I sold a couple of those back in 1999-2000.
I never sold them, but also never sold against them because Ricoh could not compete. CPC fantastic technology in it's day
Can i print envelopes in tray 2 on a ricoh 2003 without using bypass tray?
Yes, you need to run them short edge first in the paper tray. You will also need to the paper tray to the correct envelope size. What size envelopes do you want to use?
@@artpost I mostly use the traditional comercial envelopes DL with 110mmx220mm
@@theflipchannel964 perfect, set the envelope size on the Ricoh device and the on the print driver
@@artpost Thank you, do you have any knowledge if the ricoh mp aficio 6001 can print envelopes? I have also this machine but in the config menu doesn't show up any DL Envelope option...
Being a sales trainer in the Office Automation industry (Copy Machines) for a quarter of a century ... I use this scene to demonstrate how the film makers wanted to prove Bethlehem as a bad person quickly, so they had him sell copy machines. I teach the new hires to keep their integrity; to sell with honor and truthfulness; to not answer questions with "yes" unless you are certain that is correct, and if you are not sure, check and get back to them with the correct answer. I consider myself on a mission to change that perception. As Will McAvoy (Jeff Daniels) in The Newsroom said, "I'm on a mission to civilize." I have met enthusiastic and well-meaning people who are excited about the technology and how it can help their customers, and they are no longer copy machines, but so much more. This scene helps me make my point!
Great replay Chad, thanx for tuning it!
Thanks for the memories Art. When I entered the copier repair world 30+ years ago this was the first machine I worked on. It was built like a tank and you could not beat the black solids that the 450Z could produce.
That's cool. I entered as a tech in 1980, however I could not cut the mustard and moved to sales. Great machine, great features and awesome reliability. Thanx for the comment
Like this idea of this countdown
Thanx David! Will be doing one each week
High desert.
Art, thanks for having Kevin Neal, our Founder & CEO, on your show. Kevin had a great time with this discussion and thinks you are bringing valuable content to your subscribers!
Yes, it was an awesome technology chat and we hope to have more like these
Copying envelopes, not printing them.
Did you figure out how to print them
Dude!!!! congrats!!!!! you are the Champ.
Thanx Greg! Hopeing we can catch up somewhere in the near future!
Why am I not surprised that our industry would be linked to an international spying incident. LOL. Brings back memories ofAloha Leasing and the largest ponzi scheme in history (at least at the time). #needforgreed
I thought it was a cool story and I'm sure every industry has their far share of spying, ty for the comment!😀
Great answer to a question I do occassionally get!
Many would agree that FAB selling is outdated- We must bring insights and value to the table
FAB is outdated but many don’t understand how to bring insights into and add value. Teaching the simple and Outdated FAB method can help, thanx for the comment
I will demonstrate FAB in my future product videos and not assume the customer gets it.
Two great guys! Glad you both are doing so well.
Nice discussion on Fuji. Thanks Art
Nice interview! Good job
