Retain cards if you don’t need to collect energy fragments immediately. If you can't retain it, decide based on your opponent's strategy: Against secret-heavy decks (like Poison or Turnip), prioritize Lagging. Against attack-heavy decks (like Rage or AOE), prioritize Snail Shell. For Bubble cards: Remember that you can stack more bubbles if you wait for higher bulwark counts, but if they show up early, use them for the shield value. Counting Goo Cards in the Enemy’s Deck: Honestly, I don’t have a foolproof way of tracking this, especially with charms that remove cursed cards. I just assume Goo cards will start appearing around Round 10 and worsen over time. Let’s just say it’s one of those “fun surprises” for your opponent, haha. @@clarenja16 Thank you so much for the information. I have another question: how do you determine the placement of your lagging, snail, or bubble cards across the three Axies? Can I place the snail shell on the back or anywwhere, or is there a specific strategy for its placement? Personally, I typically use the snail shell on the front Axie, and I place lagging or bubble on the back/mid Axie. Is this approach correct, or is there a more optimal strategy?

@@jhocos1221 Your current approach with Snail Shell is solid. However, keep in mind that some team comps, like those with Anemone, often target the back Axie with ambush attacks. In such cases, placing Snail Shell on the back Axie might provide better protection. That said, skilled players sometimes use ambush attacks strategically to trick you into shielding the wrong Axie, as ambush attacks can target BOTH the front and back laners. For Lagging and Bubble, since they don’t have a “trigger effect when hit” like Snail Shell, you can focus more on their shield value. It’s usually best to assign these to the Axies most vulnerable to attacks-typically the front or back, depending on the opponent's strategy, as mentioned earlier. One extra tip: if you’re in desperate need of shields and don’t have any shield cards available, you can take advantage of the INITIAL effect of the Thorny Caterpillar as it gives a shield. Remember, INITIAL means the effect is triggered only if the card is played first during your turn(s). Hope this helps, and best of luck with your team! 😊

By the way, how do you handle enemies with pure damage when shields are ineffective? I’ve been struggling to win against AOE teams or the Machine Gun Bird, and it’s been quite frustrating. Hello! Thank you for watching. The feathers hit two times (for the middle bird) because of its rune Feather Descend - a Mystic Rune. Right now, the runes available for testing are up to Epic-era runes only. Sooner, Mystic runes will appear and you can try that rune - quite overpowered for a feather team ^_^ Hope this clears up.

​@@JuanJFraga hello. Just an update, the current feather descend rune right now (2nd upgrade) does not make the feathers hit two times as it was nerfed. Quite sad for us. But it was leaked that when it is in the 3rd upgrade, it will go back to 2 hits.

Hello. I just checked right now, the lowest is at .0012 weth (around $3) both dusk and reptile. w/ bubble ears - .0013 weth ($3.5) they've gone cheaper from when I bought mine

@@luiismon1628 hello. I didn't understand the question. But if you are asking why the bubble appeared again, maybe because the deck got reshuffled at that time.

@clarenja16 If you use the telescope card at the beginning of the turn you can draw cards from the discard pile, which could make it possible for you to use 4 bubblemakers instead of 3 in a turn.

@@luiismon1628 thanks for the clarification. At the initial shuffle of the deck (round 1-10), I can only use 3 bubble maker cards whether or not I used all the telescope cards. If I have drawn the 3 bubble maker cards prior to using the telescope card, I can still use those telescope cards but it will be shown to me that there will be no bubble maker card left, unless the deck reshuffles. The only time that they reappear is when the deck reshuffles (round 10 onwards I believe). That is when I can stack giant bubbles (pink) up to 5-6 stacks. I hope it is now clear. It's in the reshuffling that they will reappear, same with all the other cards except for banished cards (cottontail, telescope etc.)

@@clarenja16 I use telescope after using a bubble, so I draw from the discard pile and in a deck round I use 4 bubbles I have double telescope I use 6 bubble until round 10 the deck resets Sometimes the deck is shuffled poorly and leaves you with the telescopes last and the bubble makers first and you can't draw from the discard pile, it gets complicated

@@0twoshiin hello. Yes I think so. But it always depends on the runes and the matchups. I did well in the rare era because of the non-seasonal runes and charms that I got. And I did even better in the mystic/final era because I got the gloomy dice rune very early. As for the matchups, there are matchups that I did well in THIS SEASON (such as Feather AOE and Rage) to which from the previous season, I was very weak against. And poison teams, which is what I am strong against before, got really strong in this season and quite an impossible matchup for me.

Chamba lang yung gloomy ko sir haha. As in pag start ng final era, naka craft ako. Next time try mo i disenchant yung mga na craft mo na rune tas gamit ng scrap, bilhan mo ng moondust. Laking tulong sakin sa pag craft. Basta disenchant - bili thru scrap - craft. Ganyan next time gawin mo sir. Makakaahon ka din sir. Ganyan din ako sa mga 1st 3 months ng laro ko - hardstuck sa tiger 2-3. Magagamay mo din yan ^_^

Hello! Do you mean charms? These runes and charms are non-seasonal ones that I got from the Rougelike event last season. Anyway, those charms are called Mama Bear (Back) and Papa Bear (Tail). As for the runes: Goo Ambush - Goo Touch Shadow Rep - Way of the Reptile I’m not sure if the event will return, but those are useful, especially in the rare era.

Hello! I remember you from my Axie Classic videos (Double Aqua), and I’m really glad you’re still tuning in. Thanks so much for your support! While I’ve been able to reach Challenger with this team, I wouldn’t say it’s the best. I can make it work due to my experience, but as a newbie, it might take a bit of time to fully grasp its potential. I originally built this team because it was affordable (around $12), and it still is. If I were starting fresh with a decent budget, I’d recommend exploring teams like Anemone, Rage, Koi, or Sandals. These teams have more straightforward gameplay and great potential-you’ll often see Koi, Anemone, and Rage teams in the leaderboards. There are also other interesting teams like Turnip, Sleep, Jinx, and Bubble, though I’m not sure how simple or complex their playstyles are. I suggest doing some research or joining FB groups to dive deeper. Apart from playstyle, don’t forget to consider Runes, Charms, and Energy management. I invested a lot of time learning those aspects myself, and even now, I’m still picking up new things about the fundamentals. If you decide to go with a team like mine, I’d be happy to help through these videos!

@@taurus6014 I’m glad to hear you’re having fun with Origins and your team! You mentioned using a lunge tri-spike-that’s actually a solid choice for starting out. There are also plenty of videos on TH-cam with that team. It can serve as a good reference for you. FYI, after the final era, there’s going to be a post-season where we’ll get FREE runes and charms to test out, so definitely take advantage of that and experiment with your team!

Sakto mura lang po termi ngayon tas pwede pa gamiting sa classic. Regarding sa runes and charms, tyaga lang po sa pag craft. Kahit mga rare runes goods na (shell shock), tas pagdating ng mystic era gamitan mo po ng gloomy dice yung dusk mo. In terms of charms naman, white sage, bubble tsaka awaken stamp lang mostly. Hello and greetings from the Philippines! The advice I can give is to keep on playing and learning. Just these recent months, I was hardstuck at Tiger (between Tiger 3 and 2) and had to study certain matchups to improve. For technical advice: 1. Runes: Stick with Shellshock - triple Shellshock is fine (3 reptiles). Personally, I use 1 Dusk Axie as I aim to find the Gloomy Dice rune. It's extremely annoying to the enemy, and they will often target the Dusk first. 2. Charms: I use White Sage on my Snail Shell and Lagging. The cleanse effect of White Sage is extremely useful, especially against poison, bleed, and other debuffs like fragile and death mark. 3. Shields: Use the initial effect of Thorny Caterpillar for additional shields. Stack up shields (Snail Shell and Lagging) on the front liner or the one likely to be targeted (ambush attacks). 4. Bubblemaker: Stack bulwark effects first (Snail Shell and Lagging) before using bubble cards. If bubble cards appear first and no Lagging or Snail Shell, use them as you have no other choice. 5. Tiny Turtle: Use the initial effect of Tiny Turtle to make an enemy Axie sleep, then use a zero-cost card to wake up your Axie. It is more effective if the zero-cost card is present (mine is the telescope card). There are tough matches for our teams, especially against Anemone (gero eyes), Rage, Jinx, and Feather AOE, but they are not unbeatable. Some of my wins are due to luck, like bad card draws from the enemy. The best lesson is experience. Get used to certain matchups, and you’ll find your rhythm. I hope this helps. @@homeofchampions3810 hello po. Higher speed and HP po kasi pag Dusk compared sa reptile. Ideal po sya jan sa naka winghorn. Yung toothless naman, pwede din po sya reptile since lower speed para sa cerastes. Pero prio ko po kasi yang higher HP

Actually, I am weak against that team 😅 It's hard to read where to put my shield because of the gero and other ambush attacks.

Hello. I beat them in preseason (since there are free runes and charms) and I just use white sage in all of my snail shell and lagging. Right now I again struggle with poison teams since I only have 1 white sage and basic runes.

That's nice! I don't think they have to be exclusively terminators. There are also the ear breathing variant, which I believe are the ones in challenger.
