HAPPY BIRTHDAY MIKEY....7/12/2024 (DUKE/I SANG ''HAPPY BIRTHDAY'' TO YA TODAY !!!
Las Vegas is called "Sin City". It's where bad people try to excuse evil. It's where the Mafia feel most comfortable. It's where child sexual molestation begins. It represents the greatest ugliness of human kind. It smells too.
Sounds like a good idea but… It probably really is up to the owner of the property
We’ve called it The Leaning Barn of Bethel and it’s been an object of fascination watching it lean until it fell. It’s a landmark and it has personality - almost like a living thing, aging. While it would be a curiosity to keep witnessing its decay… like Gina said, it’s just wood and nails. The dove idea is perfect. Cycle of life!
You’re doing a great job
I appreciate that!
Thank you so much for all the positive comments…
Clean it up.Its old wood and nails.Memories last forever.
oh man i remember when i was a kid we would eat at Sal's whenever i went over to my buddies house who lived in jeff. We would sometimes stop by as well when we went to the Callicoon theater
My idea was to put a dove there with pics and history of the house
Leave the dove out and make it a historical landmark and restore it
Great video! Maybe the county can put a Dove there and have the artist paint what the house looked like in its heyday.
That would be cool!
I think that’s a good idea
We’re all happy…!
Congratulations and welcome back!
Yes everything was so good… Especially the Memosa!
You will love it …
i want to go there.
That's a huge mimosa! Must have been delish!
So sorry… They don’t have an Italian deli anywhere near you? as far as the ricotta goes… Good old dependablePolly-O in the supermarket is not bad
I’ll put one on the side for you…😊
I'm Italian from a Suburb of Chicago originally! I don't live in IL any longer and miss the food! Can't find fresh Ricotta either! How sad is that? Marie ❤️
Looks good Joe!! Where is mine?? ❤
Very nice
Thanks
Great Job Bingo!
Thank you kindly
Thanks so much… Concert was fantastic…
❤ Enjoy The Show
This concert was amazing…
Great!
Sorry but Frabkie Beverly just don't have it anymore, the voice is gone, that soulful gusto of a melodic voice is gone,Frankie should kept the old band,at least they would have carried him through the concerts, because he can't carry his on voice
This what is opening… His show was fantastic… And the audience love them… Keep going Frankie!
Just drove by today -- can't believe it's still standing!
It would be helpful to know where it is
next to the buffet on 42, 36 forestburg rd

good evening~gorgeous upload-bye. ))
Damn bro that looks good
I have been following this house for the past 50 years. It was beautiful back in the day. Since I moved up the area every time I pass the house I will stop and take a picture of it because one day it will no longer be there.
If you have any early ones where the building with straight… Why don't you post it right here ?... I think it would be nice almost like a before, and after… thanks, Joe
I finally ate here, gotta say this maybe the lowest quality food I’ve ever ate! Was throwing up literally for a little more than an houri think I was getting food poisoned, however I forced myself to throw up every bit I could so it didn’t run it’s course through the rest of my body any further! Another thing about the lowest quality food is that it cost 38 plus for a drink pushing over a hundred for two when factoring tip for crap, bet I could of gotten better at flaming hot grill for a lot less, in fact I’ve ate there before no problems, in fact I’ve never received this level of sickness eating at any buffet and maybe even any restaurant! I can’t believe I’ve wanted to try there for so long! Sadly, painfully a poor decision! In addition I think it was the spoiled seafood that did it! Times like this, one, should be able to file a lawsuit! And what’s worse is that the first plate was tremendous man let me tell you what a plummet by the second plate, in which case, the starting culprit was the sushi caviar which seemed to be symbolic or the meal grade, because half of that particular sushi was great the bottom half was terrible, and then the rest of the second of only two plates (at a 38 per plate buffet mind you) it cannoballed into the abyss! It was like a bad trip like mushrooms turning on you out of no where!
i love u so much bingo travels
Yummy
It was a stage coach pony express stop! Leaning house? Someone please restore this!
It was a pony express stop. Why aren't we saving it
It's over 100 years old, and it's not in its original configuration either. The late Beatrice Schoch, once the Bethel historian, wrote in 1984: "Doing research on old buildings and sites, I called on Mr. Ralph MacArthur who has lived at the site of the house at the corner of 17B and Route 115 for 80 years. He said that in the 1880s his great-great-grandfather owned it. It was used for a washhouse for the dray-men of wagons carrying produce from long distances and drivers of stagecoaches. Where the house now sits was a drive-through barn where horses could be changed. About 1900, the barns were destroyed and the square washhouse was moved to its present location. It was about 18 feet square. It was made into a dwelling of two floors with one room each. The Halsey Hotel was across the road on 17B and Perry Road and was owned by two of Mr. MacArthur's aunts." This information was provided by the Bethel town clerk. The washhouse may look washed up, but there are other older structures in the county. Those with the money and time and expertise to save them ought to get to work! ;)
Thanks so much for the info...so many inquirers have been coming in .
I've been watching it for the past 18 years. It's a shame nothing was done years ago to save it. Think of the history that has passed by this place. What a shame.
How old is it?
I pass it all the time. It is getting ready to fall down.
That's the old school house on pucky huddle road
The town clerk has researched this, it has been a private residence. I don't think ever a school. And not ever a toll house, that legend was false.
It was a Wash House back in the day. It was moved to the spot that it is now back in 1856. When teamster's doing on long hauls they would stop at the Halsey Inn across the street while horses would rest in barns at the house and the teamster's clothes would be washed.
"Roger Daltrey"and The Who? Pete would be unhappy to hear that!😄
Joe’s the cruise director!
