One last thing, If you're with someone that maybe your friend or family member that's all like, yo, dude, let's go out of bounds, unless you have a helicopter, snow cat or a miracle, you'll never ski out of it. In some valley, out of sight, tracks covered already, no cell service, no food, no water, just a bunch of idiot's on the BACK side of the mountain as night falls. rescue?! No one has any idea of where to look, if the mountain weather is fucked, which it always is when there's a search and rescue, you will be in Hell for day's and there isn't a damn thing you can do about it. Just try walking out of that, you can't. You either die or rescued.
Yes Beaver Creek is awesome, Thursday made it through the pass on I 70 just before they closed it. Had the Mountain to ourselves cause of the 5 feet of powder. Never go out of bounds! Never! You're welcome. No need to, you got the best skiing in the world, enjoy. Never go out of bounds for any reason whatsoever! I made the mistake and had an entire day trying to live. Just barely made it out. Never be the cool kid and go out of bounds, seriously, It sucks soo bad you can't even imagine.
This looks like a superb area for newbies and intermediates. Vail's greens are not for the timid. The catwalks/roads are better at Vail for beginners than their "green" slopes such as Lost Boy.
from Beaver Creek's official opening video........ "2,589 views Feb 7, 2022 Beaver Creek Resort opened its brand-new beginner and intermediate learning terrain, McCoy Park, on Jan. 10! As the resort’s newest signature terrain experience, McCoy Park offers 250 acres of natural groomable glade skiing and snowboarding in a serene bowl environment."
Skied here today for the first time. It'll be my last time. Poorly organized trails especially on the Ca side. One of the biggest lifts that connects the two sides of the mountain was not working for no reason. To get down to California side you have to do a black diamond mogul run...wtf! Or you take a FLAT green run. Done with this place!
Thank you, please tell me what this resort is called?
Beautiful. I'm definitely hitting Heavenly this season.
