I have this awning and walls and I don’t believe the wind was howling . With the open ends any amount of wind and the awning turns into a kite.

How do you keep your walls rolled up to put them away? I have the newest version and there are no straps built in to do this

About the only change I'd suggest is angling the poles out to match the angle of the walls to give you even more space. No need to have the poles straight up and down when the walls are deployed like that.

Same thing happened to me when I changed my fender flares to Bushwacker. My AEV bumpers is not matching anymore. But I am reluctant to cut the front bumper. Now that I saw your video, I think it's good to GO now! Great job!

I’m thinking of doing this mod, I flat tow my jeep behind a diesel pusher, but I just upgraded to 38” tires. My blue Ox set up uses the 1” recovery points to flat tow with now extra couplers.

does the TDSS work the same?

I have a question regarding the loops on the midway points of the walls. Are they attached and double stitched at all that? Also, I heard that you can bring the walls level with the yawning and set your own poles to extend the coverage. Yes, no? Thanks for posting this video it really gave me an eye-opener.

Greeting from Australia :) Nice set up mate, good to see some real camping in the US, most of the videos seem to be of the big RV's, great to see a camper trailer, camper trailers and caravans, lots of off road caravans in Australia, not so much RV's, mostly tourists hire them. I am looking at this awning and sides for my 4WD set up, good video, thanks 👍

Just ordered tent & awning

I’m always Nervous about cooking or using a propane fire pit inside the awning, is there any concern with the heat damaging the awning or carbon monoxide build up?

Very cool time lapse. Is that the breather that came with the snorkel or is it a third-party one? My snorkel has the air dam looking top. Also...rock lights are the best. I've got them on my 4Runner and love them. Great mods !
