Notice how the nat sound and interviews reinforce the reporters narrative. In this video we decided to use the sole light in the room to shoot the video. We did not want to hook up a couple 1000 watt lights that would no doubt add to the families electricity costs. We also did not want to show the living arrangements better than they actually were.

He says. First i have fun!!
My Uncle Herbert was an accountant for the Bank of the Southwest, but worked as a ticket taker at the Astrodome so he could see the games for free 😂
Childhood memories of Houston,Texas
The City of Houston has got to find a way to repurpose the Astrodome! Just do it!
Hope they bring is character back that be terrific..... nice to see he.s doing ok
I worked as a waitress in a sports bar where Mark Pillow was a bouncer. (2000, Santa Monica, CA) He was always very kind. I came in on a night off once and drank too much. He made sure I got home safely. A gentleman. 👍
Yay
The character had great potential. The film making certainly wasn't his fault. Would of been better if they'd used his voice
Han er så kjekk at jeg elsker ham
Born Yorkshire man Mark Pillow
He seems like a great guy. He could have been a great Superman villain, but the story was story was a mess. And of course that wasn't his fault at all. They should use him in one of the new shows.
Where is the Woman🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
Mark Pillow should deserve a comeback as Nuclear Man for the new Superman movies
“So Nuclear Man, ready to move back to suburbia?” “YAAAAAAAAHHHHHHH!”
May I use your footage in a video a review of this coaster that I'm working on? It was one of my favorite coasters growing up, and I'm working on trying to make reviews for all the coasters that I've been on. I'll put your channel's name on screen, and give you full credits in the description. If I could use the footage in some other videos that I make as well (whenever I reference this being one of my favorite coasters as a kid), that would be great. Thanks for having videos of Astroworld like this! They're great to see!
Knock yourself out(yes) This one was one of my favorites too. Though when they installed it, it kind of ruined the riverboat ride underneath. One of my favorite arrows suspended coasters is in King's Island and cedar point.
I was hoping to be able to make a trip up to Ohio this summer, but that didn't happen. Certainly two coasters that I'm looking forward to riding should I get back to those parks (despite how stack those park's line ups are!)@@ATARIMAN
Good to hear from him. I played the villain very well. Even though the a few of the lines were bad.
Nice...
It's nice to know that Nuclear Man settled down and moved into a nice suburb with a nice house. Even Nuclear Man needs to get to kick back and enjoy life.
"FIRST I HAVE FUN"
Poor Princess Diana...she had to sit through Superman 4 and pretend she liked it afterwards....lol....na in all seriousness I loved it when I was a little kid.
Allways the corner sulkers... i liked all the flims. To many crybabies film critics. And speaking on the princess who you never met or was probably born or a toddler when the movie came out...when us true superman fans that dont complain
Great upload thanks for this
he met princess diana crazy
It's one of the worst few cinematic disasters I've ever seen! Maybe there isn't a more crappy movie. After the Turkish movie called The Man Who Saved the World, of course. But Reeve got the most money from this movie at the time. God always sends some consolation before he deals the final blow. .This is his custom. All that's left of the nuclear man is a nuclear middle-aged beautiful man.
Somebody ACTUALLY thought this was a worthwhile interview. Hard to believe..
bugg off- a lot of people have an interest.
@@ATARIMAN Hollywood is filled with a bunch of weirdos, perverts and criminal scum that keep pushing social propaganda down everybody's throat until they choke on it. It's taken DECADES but finally this cesspool of creeps, drug addicts, scumbags is finally over the hill, and will fade away. The people who care about this GARBAGE are cretins and morons, and that's how you're appealing to, and you completely know it.
I do. I liked all the superman films... its always a clown that has negative statement @@ATARIMAN
Go sulk in a darkroom... us superman fans love ☢ man. And you all capped ??.... your comment is not worthwhile
It's Nucculeer Man!
Ashtrays on the training table from the era of King Phillip Morris
There was a good idea behind this. Sadly, even great ideas don't look so great when they're not fully financed. Certain elements could've been refined as well. Richard Lester and the Salkind's ruined the series with their silliness. Donner's Superman II was immensely superior to the theatrical version and I'm happy the it was finally released for those who wanted to complete the two part film as it was meant to be.
I'm not so sure I agree with you on the superiority of Donners II. We never got to really see it. Donner cut isn't really better than the theatrical cut. Some of the best parts are the same in both- like the confrontation on the moon. Also, I like the Lester Niagara scene. One more thing-"would yo care to step outside?" is way cooler than "ever heard of freedom of the press?" One question I have.... Donner was set to direct both films initially. The first film was supposed to be a cliffhanger, and Lois is dead. The filmmakers decided to use the ending from part II in the first film. They would need to come up with a new ending for the sequel since I am sure DOnner would not want to turn the Earth backwards again. So my question is this- how would Lois still be alive in the sequel if they don't go back in time in the original film? Shouldn't she still be dead in part II in Donner's version? It's a little fuzzy because I have seen interviews where Mankowitz said they swapped the ending, but that doesn't explain why Lois is clearly alive in all of the Donner scenes for Superman II.
2:38 Mark didn't get to keep the costume? That's very disappointing
3:09 Mark shouldn't have left, it would've been good to see him in Hollywood movies
1:44 "and a very young Jon Cryer" Yeah, don't forget he was in this, this was him, before he was Alan Harper from Two and a Half Men
Was Nuclear man in the comics? The movie was terrible, and that is not a knock on the actors.
Weakness without the sun? Should have been named solar man.
A Star is Born with is the only remade movie that was ever any good, and that is because it is basically a musical. The original Superman movies with Hackman and Ned Beaty will never be touched.
Siempre en sentido curiosidad y pienso: de que viven ahora estos actores que no alcanzaron la "Cima" de la fama ... supongo que nunca lo sabremos
Stamp Zod and Hackman Luthor are the greatest, but I have a soft spot for Pillow as Nuclear Man. If anyone sucks dick, it's Shannon's marble mouthed I WILL FIND HIM Zod in that piece of garbage known as Man of Steel. The absolute worst Superman movie ever made, and you have Mr. Snyderverse to thank.
If only Nuclear Man had been powered by a tiny nuclear reactor in his chest instead. He seemed more Sun Man. Man I miss those days.
Pillow Man, the soft dude 8)
He was my student teaching Supervisor while I was doing my student teaching for my teaching degree at Sam Houston State. He was incredible. He even offered me a job which I very much appreciated. I will never forget him.
Even tho Superman IV wasnt such a great film, I always thought Mark kinda got ripped off. He couldnt use his real voice and he went to premieres in full Nuclear Man costume. I always said he would've been a great replacement for Dolph Lundgren for that Masters of the Universe sequel that never got made. Mark really seems like a nice guy overall, I hope he does the convention circuit someday.
Glad to see he's happy with his career and family life, but I hope Mark remembers one very important thing about his too-brief acting stint: _The man has his own leitmotif, and it was composed by John Williams._ That's just awesome; he's in the same club as Darth Vader and Jaws. If John Williams wrote a theme for me, I'd play that shit every time I walked into a room. Mark, dude, if by chance you ever read this, know that I unironically salute you for holding such a rare honor.
where did you learn this tid bit?
@@TunesAndToys Williams didn't conduct the score himself, but he wrote three new themes: one for the kid Jeremy (which barely appears in the final film) along with Lacy and Nuclear Man's leitmotifs. TH-cam doesn't like links, but you can easily look it up.
@@TunesAndToys The Film Score Monthly Boxed set mentions that Williams would not be available to score the film, but one of his mentors could. Alexander Courage was no stranger to film scoring, and Williams is reported to have supplied the melody for Nuclear Man, Jeremy and even Lacy's Theme. Of course, Courage would be the one to orchestrate these themes. The set also mentions that Cannon hired an inexpensive orchestra to record the score that was unable to play ALL of the music. So the producers had to book a second orchestra- and recording studio in order to complete the music. I bet ole Yoram wasn't happy about that!
Still a good looking man. He has a cute babyface.
When attending a game, always be sure to wear a coat and tie
I prefer the Shooting Star uni's.
I wonder if Mark Pillow will be on Family Guy or Ted 3.
Mark pillow looks like fall guy tv series actor
No matter how the movie turned out, Mark commited fully to the part.
Nothing epitomises his commitment to the role more than meeting actual royalty in full Nuclear Man costume. His movie career was short but he got to work with Gene Hackman and meet the new King. What a ride
It's amazing to watch Nuclear Man and know that the actor who plays him is a super nice birdwatcher, lol
I really want to see a 'Birdwatching with Nuclear Man' TV series. Obviously he'd have to present the show in his costume 🤣
I'm happy for Mark Pillow.
Well, all I can say, which will surprise many...at least for me, Superman 4, was better than Superman Returns!
Nuclear man idea was good but it sucked
