Welcome to solitudesounds. I curate playlists and post them here every once in a while to deal with my anxiety, as I find music helps me manage life. I also really want to be a more meticulous student so I make pomodoro playlists as well. I hope you can find some sort of peace or feelings of comfort on my channel.

I romanticise and idealise,
longing to sound wise,
even though I am a child
who doesn’t know anything
about the world.

Listening to this in 1987. Leipzig.
This sounds exactly like the kind of music that was playing in the background of a home video my Grandpa made on a trip with my grandma and their friends to florida. I miss them so much i'm happy he made that video they were so young and happy.... and italian lmao
Mi incanta un capolavoro dietro l'altro! Complimenti magnifica compilation ❤❤❤❤😊
i love Chopin's barcarolle.
27:25 I started this playlist as I was making breakfast this morning and now as the music swells, I’m watching the sun rise over the golf course behind my house. Life is good.
I listen this from somewhere in south italy
Boy do I have news for you if you are military age in this setting!
A dream 🎶
northern italians must want to be french really bad
Hey can you put more ads on this video please it's not annoying enough
listening to this from the north of northern Italy.
listening from India🎀
I know ludwig ahgren somewhere in these comments
Literally no Italian composers on this playlist.
You all are spreading so much love. It’s truly heartwarming. Thank you!
I am an artist and musician in Alabama, for what it's worth to you non-Southernerz. Deep fried, baby. Get ready.
My sister lives in Northern Italy she migrated there from Australia 30 years ago my family are from the Veneto region I visited her in San Daniele My God Italy is like a work of art
I’m listening to this in the middle of Tennessee
If you see this, please send positive vibes my way. I’ve been struggling with health issues for years and could use your prayers.
Somewhere in italy... but not a single italian composer lol
I'm reaching out for your prayers and healing energy. Please keep me in your thoughts.
not to sound like a snob, but the very first piece is french???
Creo que escuchar esto es felicidad, nostalgia y saber entender que cualquier tormenta emocional va a pasar muy rápido 😞😞😞😞
This is awesome. I'm listening to it on a rainy day holding my cup of coffee somewhere in northern Italy.
infelizmente o autor é um pedófilo
listening this from Albiate (MB), Lombardia. Northern Italy.
I miss my second home. When I listen to these songs I remember the best summers spent in italy. The warmth, the people, the food, friends, family that you only see once a year. The sweetest memories.
00:37 “is there anything you don’t know?” “i know nothing Oliver..”
what a vibe, this is the place to be
This video is for annoying people
love how most of the composers are french in an italian playlist
ecco2k
damn he's still using this channel
i think honestly the main reason i love this movie so much is because it reminds me of growing up spending summers in southern austria, and how much i can relate myself and my experiences to elio.
Funny thing is that in northern italy there is much more southern music than foreign people could imagine
One of the playlists of my dream. Would have been nice if you added Reflect dans l’eau of Debussy.
Which version of each song did you choose? I find those interpretations of Liszt incredible
If I remember correctly it's Garrick Ohlsson's interpretation of Les Jeux d'eaux a la Villa d'Este and for Au Bord d'une source it's André Laplante's version For Liszt's transcription of Schubert I chose Evgeny Kissin's version
Throughout my own summer, I shared a friendship that had happened over 2 years ago. Cory and I shared a love of music, art, coffee, film, humor, and sometimes even nature. Though he was older than I was. He was certainly the Elio in our story. We loved that story so much. While visiting my grandparents, he and I couldn't stop talking to each other over the phone because of how far I was and he was far from me. Our texts would last a few hours, but I spent equal time with my family and him. During the middle of our vacation, I found out I had picked up Covid from the plane ride to see my family. So my mother, my uncle, and I went to spend three days in a hotel to prevent my grandparents from getting ill with the virus. We each got a room for ourselves to prevent either of us from getting the other sick a second time. I told Cory, and he and I continued talking all night. He made sure I was never alone in my hotel room. One special night he and I picked out Call Me By Your Name and watched the film. Of course, I cried at the end, and he asked me, " Would you call me by your name?" My heart started to beat fast. Like it was rattling a cage inside my torso, kicking and pushing my chest and my back. And so we did. A week or so, I told him while wandering around an aquarium with my friends that walking with him was like hearing a choir play music every time he took a step. We called the feeling "Alto," and whenever the two of us couldn't express our feelings verbally or wanted to say more than just "I love you." We said, Alto. Movie nights, college events, milkshake dates, and playing video games together seemed last so long. Still, they felt short compared to the life we desired. We both unofficially (because neither of us had rings and were broke) proposed to each other. I was Mr. Ackerman, and he was Mr. Kruse. After 5 months of romance and friendship, we felt estranged and grew distant. I searched for where that lost love could have run off to, but after a couple poor decisions and listening to my folks' disapproval of dating a boy. We decided it was best to end our dating. That, unfortunately, ended our friendship too. I couldn't really tell you what's going on with Cory now. All that he has is someone new, and he is living his best. I'm still in college listening to and watching Call Me By Your Name. I feel sad every now and then. Missing the memories we shared, but I receive an odd sense of joy that he's being loved on and quite possibly loved more than I could have loved him by someone new. So Cory, if you are reading this. Alto, thank you for giving me a story. I can be proud to say I lived. Thank you for helping me live and not just survive.
ur making me tear up
Thank you for sharing.
Thanks for sharing.😊
What a beautiful story
grazie per aver condiviso una delle storie d'amore più belle e reali che abbia mai sentito!

I live in Bassano Del Grappa in the countryside and now I've got something to do....playing instruments and painting with my lover.
i expected synth music
I was on vacation in Trento, Italy last week and this catches the mood perfectly. Driving around those tall mountains and beautiful lakes was astonishing.
love this thank you
Perfection.
Less disco and cocaine than I was expecting
The picture looks like a screenshot from Claires knee by Eric Rohmer. Is that correct?
