Thank you
Where can I find the soundtrack
Kaufman is the Shakespeare of this era.
No one matters more than Charlie Kaufman. I tried to give him my life story that I wrote and read to him that no one has read, because I believe he's the only one who would understand it, and he wouldn't take it. I cried a lot about that. If you see this Charlie, know that I love you.
Wonderful. The streaming world is devoid of this writing.
Which city is this??? 😩😩😩 Feels peaceeee hereee
Does anyone know where I can find the poem?
"Futureless I go eavesdropping ever stupid cunt on the sidewalk" Fantastic line. This is how I traverse day to day life as well.
Two geniuses in an ingenious collaboration. I hope to see more of this. For those of you maybe not familiar with Eva's work, read her. She is probably the best young poet to emerge in the last decade. It's why Charlie Kaufman is working with her. Google her poem "38 Michigans". You'll find it immediately and then you'll know.
Dang, how did I NOT see this sooner? Usually, I try to keep anything Charlie Kaufman-related on my radar. Spellbindingly beautiful and original. Not one word of Eva H.D. is wasted. Everything is economically perfect.
Great flim but why does the poet not get a mention?
At the beginning I mean...
this belongs on the voyager spacecraft
Can't believe that Netflix and Disney give 100s of Millions to hacks to make derivative Capeshit and Charlie Kaufman makes something like this and posts it on TH-cam for free
She sounds like a Dollar General version of John Fante
🙁 This feels as a mighty void made of real life pieces ❤A beautiful and powerful void giving rise to anything to feel and think.
he is able to illuminate humanity in such a unique way.
nice
Wait, this was shot on a phone?
Yep! The Samsung Galaxy S22 Ultra using the MotionCam Pro application - in CinemaDNG.
Motioncam App is a beast.
@@CSnrgyAll the movie ? Some shots look like full frame camera (short depth of field). it's beautiful btw. Im just being curious.
Okay. Yeah, nice film. But why is the sound so low? I had to turn the volume up 100% to get the sound to 25% of what it should have been. Crazy.
Charlie Kaufmann is something else. This was soul soothing. I am 33 y old, I wish more people would understand me deeply, profoundly. Alone and cornered, with tears falling down again. I wish I could go back. Where everything was fine, only hearts were broken.I wish for the sun to shine again in my life. But above all, I wish she says Hi again..
keep on going dude 🫂
maybe try growing a pair bro
Maybe you can gain some empathy there.
I'm 26 and I usually feel like I've wasted my life but then someone in real life tells me I still got time and I can learn some vocation and start my life anew. But it doesn't help me, and it only makes me feel like I have failed to be normal among peers and left behind, only to be saved by someone's advice on getting better. I do have some traumatic experiences I have to confide to release them, but I'm unsure how it'll be received and I'm ashamed of being passive negative thought-filled boy. I'm really afraid of being seen as weird, and I hide myself to not be seen at all, which makes it explicitly weird for those who know me. But my narcissistic side feels a bit happy to see other people who are but older than me confiding online that they're feeling bad about themselves, makes me feel good like I'm not that person. But then, upon sobering from that jealously-narcissistic-sadistic pleasuring from other's sad stories, I feel more shitty and hopeless that I'll be someone else laughing stock for being perceived a loser. Fug. I'm confused most of the time, and I'm in need of professional help, social connection and some hug. I hug you stranger. 🫂
Excellent work!!! Bless you Charlie and Eva 🙌🙌🙌
Cortometraje pretensioso y aburrido.
Haha, the subtitles said "deejay" instead of "dj"
oh charlie kaufman how i love you
ياعم كوصوم جمالك
Been considering shoot a short film on my phone, now I'm definitely gonna do it
I'll be honest, I felt relieved when the credits rolled and I saw that Charlie didn't write it. It felt so pretentious to me.
THANKYOU
His dialogue sucks. When your dialogue sucks you gotta become a narrative genius to make watchable films. Narration when your dialogue sucks is like setting yourself on fire.
Sometimes you wake up at 5am and watch this just cos it’s soothing.
Wow! This piece truly touched to my soul... I could not contain my emotions, it made my eyes well up and my heart race. I love Charlie Kaufman, but to be hones, this has nothing to do with Charlie Kaufman, and everything to do with cleansing your soul.
Made my 'Perfect' list.
"Watch me sway among the fallen, watch me shimmer. Play me that song, Sunday. I've been asking all night long." Chills. So beautifully written and directed! Kaufman's the undisputed best and I really hope he makes more movies!
Yes, quite lovely, but what did it for me was "A fallacy so staggering, verily I stagger. And on I carry, ever so merrily."
Kaufman needs to make more films
Simply incredible. Kaufman is one of the best creatives in the industry right now.
Welp. Another masterpiece from Charlie Kaufman.
i hope this gets kaufman some work in the future. his contributions to film are very important
subtitles in english someone? PLEASEEEE
subtitles are live on the film now
wow. incredible
👏
Lfg!!!
Watched im thinking of ending things three times and in each one i discovered something new . Kaufman's ability to portray loneliness is impeccable , i honestly love all his films . Hopefully he makes more of them the world needs it .
Looks great, but I wish Kaufman's own writing would get produced.
Filmed on a galaxy? Gahdayum
Really beautiful! The cinematography made me very happy; the framing and composition are excellent alongside the overall soft-dreamy look.
The cinematography is incredible. Need to see more like this
Чарли кауфман а ты смотрел фильм угра
Charlie Kaufman, i'm your fan from Russia. Don't hate russians, please
Charlie is a massively under appreciated filmmaker. Every film he directs of his own have been completely and utter successes in regards to the art form.
a real innovator
Congratulations to Charlie and Eva on this beautiful short. Now waiting patiently for Memory Police and the new book :)
Orion and the Dark too 🙌
BEAUTIFUL this is flawless, a piece of genius. Thank you thank you thank you. From the greatest film maker living today. We are blessed he is in our world. A true artist.
