Man, as a German I was always happily watching international motorsports on Eurosport in the 90s. In Germany we only had the comparably boring German Touring Cars with maximum three different car models. BTCC was different. Cooler cars and way more action. Indy Car was the same, so cool to watch in comparison to F1 it seemed much more unpredictable. Even though BTCC I remember Alain Menue always ripping the whole field.

As a youngster in the 90s i absolutely loved the BTCC. My Dad worked for Volvo so that was our team and Rydell was my hero. The Murray Walker soundtrack just made it even more special. Great times

God I remember playing the toca touring car game from that generation of cars when I was a teenager. I would love hearing and seeing them cars scream around the track. It's a shame that's not really the way anymore. I just don't like this generation of touring car. I realize you want to cut cost, but every time it's been done in any organization, the main thing that suffers is the on track racing.
