There’s a very popular TH-cam channel labmuffin who debunks and educates on these kind of claims. Don’t fall for this fear mongering sales platform.
There are SOOOOO MANY ADS during this recording. Great topic though.
Brca is a tumour surpressor. The brca1 and 2 gene MUTATIONS mean mean those women have a 60-85% chance of getting a very agressive form of breast cancer. Don’t judge that decision - your message is confusing when yes, the brca gene we all have and supresses cancer - hence why ppl with a mutation in that gene do not have that protection!

Thank you...this was a fascinating & eye-opening convo, Doctors...edifying. I'm realizing that i need to do a bit more research regarding my health needs. Would you know of any healthy & detoxifying air fresheners i could use to clear out the toxic molecules that the individual in the apt above keeps spraying? Then they take a high-powered fan/ac appliance to direct the noxious substances into the vents & into my space...truly vexating & exhausting! On a positive note: the dancing closing just tot'ly lifted my spirits ladies!😃
I am diagnosed with MCAS and my histamine levels on a normal day while taking my h1 and h2 blockers was still 52 (1-8 is normal.). I also have very high Luekotrienes.
I have heard some fitness experts say that because protein spikes Mtor it can initially be beneficial but to limit animal protein to 3 times a week or the added Mtor spike can be detrimental to health as it could relate to over activity in the cells creating cancer for example. I want to get my 100+ grams of protein in and I know animal protein gives you the bang for the buck. I have reverted to beans and quinoa as protein fillers on other days as well as egg whites. Not sure if this is ideal.
This was an amazing webinar. Thank you so much. I listened and now need to replay and take notes. So much was hitting home. Now I need to figure out how to present to my new doctor!
Great info! Can you please explain how topical estrogen wouldn’t get absorbed by the body systemically? You mentioned that xenoestrogens in personal care products end up on receptors in the body.
From Dr. Nielsen: The topical hormones are absorbed into the body and stored in the fat tissue around the site of application. The body then removes them into circulation as they need them. As we age, especially post-menopausal our hormones are distributed through the peripheral tissues. They will circulate and be processed as they normally would but they mimic the natural process of absorption and utilization. When we take them orally they are a large dump then must be broken down and detoxified by the liver because of the overload and as you may remember must pass through the liver twice to detoxify. Anything left in the bowel will be eliminated or reabsorbed depending on our gut health and that can lead to estrogen build up and estrogen toxicity. Net result is topical patch or creams are generally gentler and safer because we avoid the dump and detox effects of the oral assault. The Xenoestrogens on our skin or our beauty care products absorb and then sit in the estrogen receptors and block our good estrogen from being able to land or dock in the receptor. Because they are a "false" estrogen they play havoc with our detox pathways and our ability to regulate our own or our bioidentical estrogens. Thanks so much for asking for clarifcation. I hope that answers your question more clearly.
@@thednacompany4669 Thank you so much. Very helpful explanation!
Can behind bit by an insect cause long term itching in a person who has had no allergies to anything. Experiencing long term itching on arms where bite occurred. Dr. Says not to worry. Itching at night keeps me awake. Cortisone applied topically doesn’t really help. Was bit or stung 3 wks ago on elbow. Thanks in advance
Dose the 360 test cover any markers for mitochondria? I have positive AMA FOR 6 years!! And dna damage.
Dose the 360 test cover any markers for mitochondria? I have positive AMA FOR 6 years!! And dna damage.
from Dr. Varden: The DNA360 test provides valuable insights into genes that influence diet, lifestyle, stress management, detoxification pathways and more, which can help you tailor choices that support liver health and potentially alleviate symptoms related to Anti-Mitochondrial Antibodies (AMA). Some of the genes covered, such as those influencing mitochondrial detoxification and function (e.g., SOD2 & GPX) and energy metabolism (e.g., UCP1), can indirectly support mitochondrial health by optimizing cellular processes and reducing oxidative stress. By understanding your unique detoxification and antioxidant capacity, you can make targeted dietary and lifestyle changes to reduce liver stress, optimize immune function, and manage mitochondrial health, even if AMA is present.
EOSINOPHIL and EOSINOPHIL absolute is high what can this indicate?
From Dr. Varden: High eosinophil percentage and absolute count in bloodwork often suggest an immune response to allergies, parasitic infections, or autoimmune conditions. I would suggest discussing your results thoroughly with the doctor who requested the labs and/or a licensed health professional that knows your medical history and is caring for you.
Is gstm1 and gst get tested in dna test you offer?
from Dr. Varden: Yes, we test for and report 3 major genes in the glutathione conjugation pathway, which include GST-T1 and GST-M1 as copy number variants along with GST-P1 as a SNP (single nucleotide polymorphism).
We can set aside artillery but if back then a different team leader sorry how long that's gatugye I have one option due it's that buttinni don't mind jero asking it pressed it kills ok leave by other commands very more. Why kashif khan is not a speaker anymore ?
Kashif wanted to do more one on one and group programs with clients - and that is what he loves doing and dedicates his calendar to, he still co-hosts our webinars and podcast episodes when his time allows and is very much a part of what we continue to do!
This is fabulous! My results in my 360 report absolutely reflect my lived experience of bingeing and gives me more confidence in my decision to quit alcohol. Thank you DNA Company!
After taking the DNA test your company offered I was left with some confusion. Where I have the GG version for FOX3 my other genetic markers seem to contract such in terms of inflammation, 5G 9p21, MTHFR, SOD2, GPX...and other suboptimal markers. In my estimation the single gene FOX3 for longivity has not a lot of bearing as formerly promoted.
It’s a problem on the mom’s side.
What does BDNF rs6265 mean?
From Dr. Varden: Rs6265 is a gene variation, a single nucleotide polymorphism (SNP) in the BDNF gene that codes for brain-derived neurotrophic factor. In terms of epigenetics, the BDNF rs6265 Met allele is often linked to differences in how the brain responds to environmental factors like stress, exercise, or neurotherapies (e.g., light and sound therapy). This variation may help explain why some individuals experience more challenges with mental health or cognitive resilience.

I am so disappointed that I had to miss this. I wanted to ask about bhrt and blood clots. My hematologist wants me off everything, my gyn is willing to prescribe local products. I'd really like to use transdermal but conventional medicine, well.....
I did my DNA test and added the non-methylated forms of B12 and B9 recommended for me but I still take a multi B supplement (which contains methylated versions as well). How do I know if the other B vitamins in that supplement are right for me and if the methylated B9 and 12 are harming anything by still taking?
** Please Note that our Clinician responses are for Educational Purposes , and you should always Discuss with your Health Care Provider** From Bryce Wylde: Based on the provided insights, let’s address your situation: Understanding Non-Methylated vs. Methylated Forms: If your DNA test indicated a need for non-methylated forms of B12 (like Adenosylcobalamin) and B9 (such as Folinic acid), this means that your body might not efficiently process methylated forms like methylcobalamin and 5-MTHF. However, since you are also taking a multi-B supplement containing methylated versions, there are a few considerations to keep in mind: Genetic Variants and Tolerance: For individuals with specific genetic variations (like MTHFR variations), using methylated forms can sometimes be problematic. They might experience symptoms like anxiety, irritability, or overstimulation because their bodies can become overwhelmed with the methyl groups. To assess if the methylated forms are causing issues, pay attention to any changes in mood, energy levels, or other symptoms that coincide with taking the multi-B supplement. Checking for Overlap: Look at the quantities of methylated B12 and B9 in your multi-B supplement. If they are at relatively low doses and you aren't experiencing negative symptoms, your body might tolerate the small amounts. However, if they are in high doses, it may be wise to switch to a multi-B without these methylated forms to avoid overloading your methylation pathways. Evaluating B Vitamin Needs: Beyond B9 and B12, the other B vitamins (like B6, riboflavin, niacin, etc.) play different roles in metabolism and energy production. They should be considered also and can be assessed based on an intracellular micronutrient status test ie. www.spectracell.com/blog/posts/serum-vs-intracellular This type of blood work and functional testing can help understand how your body is processing the B vitamins. Consider checking your levels of homocysteine, methylmalonic acid (MMA), and other markers related to B12 and B9 metabolism. Elevated homocysteine, for example, might indicate that your body isn't effectively utilizing the forms you’re taking, while high MMA could suggest a need for a different form of B12. Personalization Based on Symptoms: Ultimately, the best indicator is DNA but also consider how you feel. If adding the non-methylated forms improved your symptoms and adding the multi-B supplement with methylated forms did not introduce new symptoms, you might be tolerating it well. However, if you feel worse or notice any new symptoms, it could be a sign that the methylated forms are overloading your system.
Straight to the point! Thanks!
