Planted Onions & Garden Tour
I received my onions from Dixondale Farms and planted them out on Friday (12/27/24)! This is my second season planting onions, last year they did great!! But I went through them too fast, so this year I planted more. Same with my garlic, I planted double what I did last year (my first year gardening).

My Fall/Winter Garden

This is just a quick overview of my garden. I need to put two of my raised beds to bed. I will add compost and fertilizer then cover with straw. Last year (my first year of gardening), I planted my Fall veggies earlier and had plenty of Collards, Mustard Greens, Broccoli, Cabbage and Brussels Sprouts ready to harvest already. Here is a quick view of my garden. I can't believe, with the garden producing so many tomatoes, peppers, cucumbers, okra and green beans it's also time to start sowing our Fall and Winter seeds! The following are the seeds I'll start with: broccoli, brussels sprouts, cabbage, collards, celery, beets and bunching onions.

In my garden: 3 varieties of cucumbers (burpless, straight eight, national pickling), sweet potatoes, green beans (jade, blue lake), 8 varieties of tomatoes, 9 varieties of peppers (hot & sweet), okra, sweet corn, pumpkin, celery and herbs (basil, dill, cilantro, rosemary, sage and oregano).
