I do not display the type of dynamic content I created, as you have at 2:18 a.m. What could be the problem?
hi, the pdf don't show me the image that I put, help! please!
Love your tutorials David! Unfortunately, it seems like BugFu has been abandoned and doesn't work for me. No matter what I put for it to output it just outputs '2' as the result of some exec operation, in the console.
I just tried it out and it worked for me. I imagine you put it in PHP code? I guess you can always go the var dump route with debug on. Not as nice but it should work.
@@Elementor360 Hmm... I'll give it another shot then. Could be plugin conflicts I guess.
This is great when checking out a new client's website, and they have too many plugins (several related to elementor) and not sure what is in use.
thank you very much, your explanation is perfect
You are absolutely right, in my opinion as I have test a lot of themes with different builders, the best combination is Kadence Theme with Kadence Blocks for any kind of website.
I really appreciate it. Because of the video, I could save my project and make my client happy. thank you very much because of the in-depth explanation
I'm glad it was helpful. Thank you for letting me know.
So based on your example at the 1655 minute mark love your video. You have to create an edit, etc., on a separate screen and then place them where you want in the document.? You can’t do it on the document? I only ask because in other software is like show it I can do everything right on the document itself.
This is showing how to place an element created with one page builder using an element from another builder (Kadence Elements based on Gutenberg). I don't think it is common to render one page builder's content inside another builder. You could create the banner using Kadence or you could create the entire site using Elementor.
Exactly what I needed, thank you very much!
I'm happy it was helpful.
Great Tutorial! I am having an issue getting the archive to display. How did you do the linking? I created a page with the same slug as the custom post type in Jet Engine and it is displaying a default archive even after creating a new one in the Theme Builder.
As far as I know, that approach will never work. If you want to have a totally custom page for your archive you can turn off "has archive" in the CPT creation screen and then try your idea of a page with the same slug.
@@Elementor360 Ah. What link did you use when you created the custom menu item to link to the post archive that you then styled? If I cut and pasted the template link, I could get the page to display correctly, but this was not the same order as your example.
can you combine this with the calculation operators? so basicly i want to set up an request form where clients can select different options and will get the pdf automaticly via email with the amount it costs and a listing of all selected services
Dynamic.ooo just introduced Dynamic Shortcodes that works with Elementor, is included with the license, and allows some math calculations.
I would love to have the PDF "downloadable" by the person filling in the form rather than having it emailed. is this a possibility?
I don't have this setup at the moment to test, but in general you need to get the link to the PDF. In the video we set up an action after form submission to send an email with the PDF. Check if there is an option for download after form submission.
You didn't address the issue of Equal height Grids. Your grids are not the same height. They are not of Equal height.
Sorry I didn't think of that. I checked the Unlimited Elements website and didn't see any tutorials on this.
This message shows up under my Timber-installation: We recommend switching to the Composer based version of Timber. Why you need to switch. Is there an alternative to Timber?
very helpfull video
It is not copying on the first click. What is being done wrong?
I'm not sure. Maybe see if you can set the focus on the button.
Excellent friend truly subscribed, I had a question, I am being presented with the fact that when I fill out the form the form is perfect in the format of thousands, the amount fields, but when I send it, it is sent without any type of format, is there any way to solve this?
Perhaps try the Twig number format option: twig.symfony.com/doc/2.x/filters/number_format.html
This is the best tutorial I've seen in years. Thank you!
I'm glad you liked it and than you for letting me know.
is there a way to attach images onto the PDF?
You can add an image into the PDF. The video, and the text version, show doing that. Check at around 25.12.
@@DavidMcCan thsnkd i figure it it same way as adding a signature
Thank you, I am a web developer and I think that the concept of Hello Elementor suits me better than the alternatives. I want a clean theme, and the minimal code is not a weakness for me, on the contrary I don't want bloated code and CSS madness overriding styles multiple times. Then I always disable Gutenberg by default. I need flexibility and control through my code (I put all customization in the Child Theme, easy to access and change through my code editor). These days I am evaluating a full conversion to Elementor. I just finished my first plugin to add custom widgets, so far I am happy with the result. Today I try to add custom skins for the "Posts" widget available with Elementor Pro. If this key feature is covered then I can build templates for the archive loops and single pages. I need to test how it works with CPT and custom fields, this is mandatory for all websites I develop. Elementor should support CMB2 and not only ACF or Pods. I hope the integration is good enough to allow me to set custom post types, taxonomies, and post meta even if they are generated by code in the Child Theme.
It sounds like you aren't using Gutenberg and are an advanced user. Congrats on developing your own plugin and widgets.
@@Elementor360 Yes, I don't like Gutenberg, it is chaotic. My customers are often simple users, and sophistication is not welcome. Therefore I must have two different choices: one simple and one powerful. The post content depends on the post type, for the articles and most of CPTs i keep the classic editor. For pages it is good to have a page builder, mostly for my convenience. I am not against a visual page builder when benefits are more than the drawbacks. I used WPBakery, and I made plugins for it, but now I realize that Elementor evolved, it is more powerful and popular, some customers found it easier to use. So I decided to switch.
Is it possible to pull the purchase information made by the user to show it in the front end? what would be the user's meta key for this?
If it is a dashboard for the purchaser then I think you'd start with the logged in user id. If it is a dashboard for the shop owner then I think you'd start with the order id.
Absolute lifesaver, even in 2023. Wonder why Elementor isn't doing this itself.
hi can you help me with creating my form on my site?
Sorry, I'm not available for contracting now.
Geeessh talk about a V-8 moment, I have been wracking my brain about this and never thought about using custom skins lol Thank you. Just want to add when adjusting for mobile responsiveness set the columns 35/65 for tablet and both columns to 98% for mobile on the loop template.
Thanks for sharing some things to keep in mind.
Looked everywhere on how to do this, super easy with no code. Class
I use search filter with elementor posts, please teach me how to set the not found message.
It appears to be a missing feature, but there are some work-arounds here - read down the thread to find a recent option: github.com/elementor/elementor/issues/7624
Hello, thanks for your contribution, I have a question. On my site I have a form made with dynamic ooo, and it generates a pdf that is sent to the user who filled out the form and to those interested, but I can't get the signature to be displayed. You only see an address of the image that was created
The signature is saved as an image in the uploads directory and you have to reference that. There is some information about it on the HTML PDF form creator page. You can use "<img src="{{ form_raw.signature_field_id }}">" but replace "signature_field_id" with your signature field ID.
this video deserves more likes.
Thank you for the kind words.
Hello, can JetSmartFilters be used without Elementor?
Yes. Crocoblock's JetEngine works with Gutenberg and you can use JetSmartFilters with that. Also, they just added support for using JetSmartFilters with the Bricks Builder.
@@Elementor360 Thank you. How about with only php? Our theme is custom and we do not use Elementor or Blocks. We have classic editor. We want to put the filter on our category blog pages.
@@gfo1995 - JetSmartFilters doesn't work with custom coded PHP.
is there any way to place a search over a revolution slider? So if I add a shortcode of a slider and then I need to add a search on top of it
Not that I know of.
@@Elementor360 I made it work after watching that other video of yours. Thank you
@@heisenberg9616 - Congrats! That is awesome. Glad you got it working as desired.
👍
👍
What an overhyped theme, you did well marketing this theme considering that there's barely any functionality. It's supposed to be a 'page builder framework' yet it adds very little to what Elementor already does, you don't even attempt to replace some of the Pro features like blog posts section with your own widget? Geez...
I'm not the developer. The philosophy of the theme is to be light weight and get out of the way so you can use your page builder as desired. If you want more features then you might like Kadence or Blocksy.
it only works with buttons?
No, you can use it for all sections and widgets.
Awesome, still works even till today. Thanks a lot!
Great tutorial, thank u
I am doing this with exactly your code but it keeps returning the post ID rather than the magic word.
Sorry, I don't know what might be the issue. Maybe check the settings has them allowed?
Great video, thanks for sharing. I would have a little question about the Theme Builder and Template Builder of Crocoblock. I can create templates for loops and listings, but also for specific pages (depending on the conditions). So I'm wonderin how I would create static templates, eg. an info box I would lile to insert in my CPT template as a shortcut? I'm wondering because I'm now using the Elementor Pro Template Builder for those purposes, but also for archive pages (and inside them the Crocoblock listing widget). I would much appretiate an answer/advice. Further I was wondering if I would even need Elementor Pro when using the plugins from Crocoblock? I could get all my dynamic fields through JetEngine, or am I missing something?
If you want them in your templates then the Full Site Editor has template parts. Header and Footer are template parts and a sidebar would be also. If it is while writing content you can create reusable blocks in the Gutenberg editor and then pick them from the block list to use them.
@David McCan Thank you for the answer. So if I were to build pages with Elementor, there wouldn't be a possibility for to insert such blocks as a shortcut? So I would lile to create those blocks, like I'm doing now with Elementor, and when I would be to update that block it would be updated on all pages. I mean I would really like to have all of my templates in "one family". Besides that, can you give me an assessment regarding Crocoblock and Elementor Pro. I don't use most of the Pro widget and templates. Couldn't I ditch then Elementor Pro for just Crocoblock? So I would use Elementor (standard) and Crocoblock. When it comes to dynamic tags, I could do all of it with Crocoblock aswell right? I don't see much benefits in my case for now when it comes to those two tools. I didn't test it to know how the Pro version of Elementor impacts the site perfomance. My thought were to just not use it, when it would affect the perfomance in a negative way.
@@stillready6405 - I would use Crocoblock with Gutenberg or with Elementor - right, pick one. Elementor Pro has the form builder and popup builder, which you won't have if you just go with Elementor Free. If you don't need them and what's in Crocoblock has everything you need then the free version should be fine. Lots of people do that.
@@Elementor360 All right, thank you for the advice :)
Great tutorial! it's really cool.
Awesome video. Thanks!
Hi, nice video thank you so much. Is there a way at the end of filling and sending form to display a button to automatically download or open in new window the pdf created instead of sending it by mail or both ? Maybe using form steps ? Thx for letting me know please
I imagine it is possible because the PDF is saved (by default) in the uploads folder. Dynamic.ooo also has a PDF button. You might check with support to see if it can be used with a form or if you can download the form submission.
@@Elementor360 if you do find out this answer I would also like to know if you can do this.
Great tutorial! thank you very much, Greetings from Colombia 👍
Thank you, and greetings!
So, to explicitly create loops with custom fields in archives and post widgets, is there any advantage to using this over Ele Custom Skins? I understand that the plugin has much more functionality than dynamic loops alone, but specifically for loops is there anything it does that Ele doesn't do?
No, the same idea / feature as Ele Custom Skin and Dynamic.ooo. If you are willing to get into coding, then with the Widget Creator there are things you could do with dynamic data, but that's on a different level.
@@Elementor360 awesome, thank you for the help!

How to convert into image ?
Sorry, I didn't see that as an option.
I need to know too
Sir, will Crocoblock work on Elementor Hello Theme ?
I haven't tested it but I think it should.
@@Elementor360 Sir, can you try for yourself so that it may be clear. Right now I don't have Crocoblock. Please try Crocoblock with Hello theme and let me know. I am found of Hello theme. I want to ensure before investing in Crocoblock. I hope you will help me. With warm regards, Vivek Kumar ( Dehri On Sone, Bihar, India )
This is a very nice comparison between the two Themes. I use Kadence Theme together with Elementor Pro and so far I am quite happy with the combination of the two. But I have two questions: Since this is a 2 year old video and Elementor Pro allows us by now to also customize blog posts, would you still recommend Kadence over Hello if you want a blog on your wesbite? And secondly, I found that I am not able to build my header and footer with Elementor once I set them up in the customizer of Kadence Theme. Is that a normal behaviour or am I missing out on something? A reply to these two questions would be highly appreciated.
Elementor Pro lets you create the layout and design for post pages, but that is different than providing support for Gutenberg. Kadence, GeneratePress, Astra, and Blocksy, for instance, do provide integration between the choices made in the theme Customizer and the Gutenberg editor. Colors, typography, container size, etc. You can set those in Elementor when using the Hello Elementor theme, but those won't carry over to Gutenberg. This kind of thing is really just an issue if there is going to be regular content created in Gutenberg. As far as I know, in general, you should be able to replace the Kadence theme header with one you build in Elementor. Perhaps you set conditional headers or something with Kadence? There are toggles to turn that feature off under Admin / Appearance / Kadence. If there is an issue it is hard to guess. You might try checking the JavaScript console in Chrome to see if there are errors showing there that might give a clue.
@@Elementor360 Thanks very much for the quick reply! I just decided to switch my website to Hello and build the Header and Footer with Elementor. That way I really get more freedom in designing them, which I like. As I don´t want to use the built in capabilities of the Kadence Theme anymore, it does not make much sense to use it at all, at least for me. You are right that the settings don´t integrate with Gutenberg yet, but I hope, Elementor will one day improve on that.
Thanks. Never knew about the disconnected with blog. What about the7 theme. I have a spare licence. Its a theme signed off by google. It has decent seo out box. Any opinions welcome. Thanks
The 7 Theme has good Elementor support. There is no mention of Gutenberg on their site or in the knowledge base.
@@Elementor360 I’m really interested in seeing a speed test for the this theme against hello elementor.
Eg theme plus elementor webkit. Full test. Pros and cons. Eg speed vs features. And time saved / efficiency
The 7 has amazing support and its a stable theme. Eg i use bethemes bettwr designs. But lots of time consuming issues on seo. Plus consistent bugs and issues after each theme upgrade. Not mention they don’t even optimise there own files.
Thanx!
