MSTS UP 844 (Vol. II)
มุมมอง 92K17 ปีที่แล้ว
The high stepping Northern gets moving out of Clinton, Iowa. The simulated 'four chuffs per revolution' isn't too great in this video, but it's okay considering it's one of the hardest sounds to replicate in MSTS.
MSTS Union Pacific Steam
มุมมอง 22K17 ปีที่แล้ว
Union Pacific's greatest articulated steam locomotives put on a fine show while traversing the tough route over Sherman Hill in southeastern Wyoming. UP Challengers in Laramie and Borie, and UP Big Boy 4019 is seen operating around Cheyenne, Forell, and between Emkay and Lynch WY.

Just a little teaser of something I'm working on... You can probably guess what it is :)
MSTS Crawford Hill

Rare video of me running diesels... Taken on the Crawford Hill route available over at Train-sim.com
MSTS UP 844 in Iowa
มุมมอง 34K17 ปีที่แล้ว
Union Pacific FEF-3 #844 is seen galloping westbound through eastern Iowa at speeds of up to 80mph with a business special. First caught at Grand Mound, IA, then later seen cruising over grade crossings a few miles west of town.
MSTS UP Challenger 3985

UP Challenger #3985 on BNSF rails? Anyways, here are some runbys I edited together.

4449 yet again, with a new whistle. Shot on Whitefish-Kootenai 7.
SP 4449 (pt2)
มุมมอง 35K17 ปีที่แล้ว
Ex- Southern Pacific GS4 No.4449 being tested with better physics on the Whitefish-Kootenai route. It seems to do well on the grades just west of Whitefish, MT. One step closer to release! :D This video also shows the engine working with its old whistle (possibly the one now used on SPS 700) and with some air horn thrown in ;)
Where did you get the MSTS loco addons for the up 3985, 844 and 4000 class ?
Make more videos, it's 2022!
4014 pulls 60 cars of freight train on her 1st ferry move for the 1st time since 1959.
Hey another upload! Nice stuff!
So beautiful
Roll on Union Pacific Roll on!!!
It's great to see you active again after so long...
Cool
Awsome catch
Big boy looks great .Long live the Big Boy. 844, and Challenger. Ed Dickens you and the crew are heroes . I have had many visits with 844 and got to hang out with him all day . UP steam is like SODOR WITH LIVE ACTORS!!! I have a shape like Sir Topham Hatt but not as tall .I could pass as his daughter and 844 could run circles around Gordon!!!!! I’d love to see fan made videos about someone like 844 ,Challenger, and Big Boy on America’s version of Sodor . A cluster of big islands in Pacific Ocean with steam engines from US railroads like B&O New YOrk Central the Old Southern with their green Pacifics Union Pacific and Santa Fe .Also the Daylights and railroads I didn’t mention. Maybe TRAINZ software in the hands of someone smart could produce a story about Franklin the FEF .I would love to meet a computer geek who also loves steam engines . I could write a story about Franky the way Wilburt Awdry did on paper but I’d need to learn a lot about railroads
This comes from an era of hate, racism and bigotry, white supremacy. I'm calling for this item to be dismantled as a result. Mass protests will be lodged if demands are not met.
EXCELLENT UP is better than a class one railroad.
Wow, just wow, that is AMAZING!
What a wonderful day! Great job.
He looks awesome
oommgggg biig booy iin raaillss!!!
What a beautiful machine.
WOW! Just fantastic. Looks all shiny and brand new. Great job UP.
Bitte mehr Videos von Big Boy. Nehmen wir teil, wer nicht live dabei sein kann. Es ist einfach so schön dort zu sehen. Vielen Dank. Nächster.
Oh! Bloody Hell! Fantastic! I Was born in 1950 and have always lived in England. Even when I was a young boy I wanted to be taken to the USA to see a Big Boy. I may well be able to do that now.
Nice work their burritofarmer!
Thanks!!
From the Netherlands: Congratulations and biggest possible compliments to the Railroad that is Building America! Respect for all staff, workers and helping hands to make history a living legend with the beautifull BIG BOY!! You have stolen my heart!!!!! Greetings from Arie Bert Versteeg, Strijen/the Netherlands.
Rebuilding 4014 was certainly amazing, but don't mistake it was a PR move and nothing more for the UP. They are the scummiest railroad on this continent. I prefer to work for a short like getting paid half as much because I don't want fucking drones following me around trying to find a reason to fire me.
Love toot of it sounds
Normally I’m one who wants to make sure that we take care of the environment. But after seeing 4014 back in action, I’m going to put that worry away for a little bit. The asking of Steam has reclaimed his throne, my friends. Now is the time to celebrate.
So exciting! Brings tears of joy to my eyes.
I am still finding it hard to believe that the train i have ran to over and over throughout the years at Pomona Fairplex is now Up and running I just can't wrap my head around it, still awesome X)
I'll bet that the conductor felt like a kid at Christmas when he was running the Big Boy down the tracks.
Engineer**
Wow it’s been a decade since you uploaded, anyway this is truly a magical moment in history.
It’s gonna be so tall compared to the coaches 😂 You can tell already by the support cars haha I hope 4014 pulls at least *one* freight consist over Soldier Summit... that’d be amazing. Big Boy pulling a passenger train would be an interesting sight, sure, but I’d much rather document 4014 pulling what it historically did. Just one, for the history records 😉
Right?
This just made my day
Thank you Union Pacific and the crew I have been waiting 60 years
Surprise that it doesn’t have 2 Aux tenders. It may when it going to Utah.
SHE LIVES! THE DRAGON OF THE WEST LIVES!
Very cool👍👍👍👍👍
Congratulations once again
WHERE IS THE STEVE LEE TO SEE THIS
What tender is it using
3985s
Is 3985’s a place holder for now or is that gonna be the official tender?
@@GMan9029 they're restoring 3985 next so it's gonna be a placeholder until 4014's tender is fixed
The tender is 3985's which is being used as a reserve while 4014's original tender is being restored. Once then, 3985's tender will be returened to the challenger for her restoration.
It’s been completed? YEEEEEEEEEEAAAAAAAAAAAAAAH! Better luck next time 3985. Get well soon challenger.
This comment didn’t age well :T
I expected a better turnout for this. It was way better when 611 came back. They where both retired the same year so I’m shocked there isn’t an equal crowd.
Well trespassing fines might be why not as many people are there
611 was retired reactivated in the 90s the big boy has been retired since the 60s
Impressive and the whistle!!
WOW... About the best example ever of a modern day US steam loco restoration there is. Union Pacific had the skill and facilities to get it DONE in quick time. Other much smaller groups are slogging away for 20+ years with mixed success - or not. Union Pacific was not concerned about the expense. NO fundraisers needed. In today's profit is all that matters world that is beyond HUGE. 2 thumbs way up for Uncle Pete. Now if only Norfolk Southern would get the Norfolk and Western Y6 running that would get me super happy.
SouthJerseyDachshund not so fast there it was a combined effort they did not do 100% of the work 90% more accurate
@@plymouth-hl20ton37 I don't know if NS has wanted to restore it.
Great video, I love the way the sun makes Big Boy glisten. Thanks for sharing. It gives me goose bumps and I'm an old fart!
Just Awesome. Wish I was there. Thanks for the vid.Good spot looking up towards the track.Impressive Beast.
WOW! Amazing.
Wow!
This song th-cam.com/video/VUEHG6zx7aY/w-d-xo.html runs through my head seeing this. I'll admit that put a smile on my face.
AWESOMENESS
First time in decades
