Is Valorant Harder Than Sports?

Ladies and gentlemen, so as a valorant coach who helps low elo players rank up and achieve their dream rank, you may think that I would be quick to defend these individuals who claim that valorant is harder then sports. However, you guys may not know a bit about my competitive upbringing, I hope this video can bring about some light on this topic from a perspective that has seen both sides. #va...

I'll probably still play the game from time to time, just very rarely and more so to have fun. As far as coaching goes, I had a fun time while it lasted and look forward to new adventures. Hey wassup dude. Im HARDSTUCK bronze and havent watched this video yet but ive watched thousands of guides on movement aim. Do you counterstrafe or deadzone, or just pure a/d strafe?

    • @Hacker1Easy
      @Hacker1Easy หลายเดือนก่อน

      Good question! I'll be completely honest with you, if you are in bronze the last thing you should be concerned about is that level of detail when it comes to your movement. Majority of the time, players in higher elo do not even think about those terminologies, rather it comes by muscle memory. If you really feel like your movement lacks, my tip is to spam deathmatches and make your goal to dodge the enemies bullets and consistently win the game. This should help you build on that muscle memory. For any other tips, id recommend watching the video, as it goes over some untapped sauce that could help you escape that elo

    It's unarguable that sports require much more physical effort, but I disagree that sports requires more dedication. Obviously as you yourself explained, both require repetitive practice, as well as rehearsing and learning new theory, but I wouldn't come to the conclusion that one requires more effort than the other. Also it is a fact that being in good shape physically greatly improves your gaming performance. Both require insane amount of effort and dedication. If you want to actually be the best of the best, the only difference between sports and esports is that sports as a whole is more physically demanding. Speaking as someone who has played and coached competitive Valorant and played soccer in the past.

      @HannesBeats 2 หลายเดือนก่อน

      @@papapepega8018 you absolutely can. Ive played semi pro CS and played basketball at d2 level and had good performances against good d1 players. And i can confidently say that while games like CS and Valorant take similar amounts of skill, sports are way harder. To be professional at a sport you have to sink tens of thousands of hours into training the sport, and on top of that, thousands of hours in the gym. + A good diet, sleep routine and more. Sports are physical and take a toll on your body, thats why you cant train the same and its harder for sports because when training in a sport you can train for 2 hours at a time until you need rest, otherwise it wont be productive. Val and CS you can just grind 8 hours a day.

      @@HannesBeats to add on, most of the popular sports have been around the world for decades now, so competition is going to be insanely fierce.Take football(or soccer for the muricans) for example, you almost cannot make it in the top leagues unless you've started since childhood. In esports you can just simply switch bw games. However, SUSTAINING a career in esports is much more harder than irl sports.Your job involves sitting at a chair for 8 hours a day which physically fucks up your health.At least in sports, your health is already being maintained by your work.But professional gaming has none of that.Its like the landscape changes so darn quickly in esports, 1 year of that probably can equate to 4/5 years of irl sports.
