it's a trash game.... random skeletons kill you with 2 hits. Euro servers are 50% of the time down. The dev team didn't answered emails when we asked for refunds. we bought this shit with some people than it became free on steam... It's a scam. avoid this crap.

I guess I don't understand what you mean by "free-to-play vs paid". Spend money on what? There's literally nothing to spend money on unless you want to buy skins or emotes. Or do you mean in game currency in the market? Maybe that's a better question. Are you talking rl $ or in-game gold?

2:00 Creativity is definitely something you can do in this game, you can make decisions at any moment to combat different situations, maybe use traps from the ma to fight a specific class, maybe set up a sneak attack hiding in the shadows, maybe run away and throw projectiles, or drink ale and get extra strength to rush the 1v1. This tactics you can do with any class

Here's a massive tip: use the VOIP. Just saying hello will turn you from unknown threat likely to attack to a fellow player. Most players are just as scared of pvp and losing their loot as you. Even the people who want to pvp will either go easy on you, move on, or outright help you if you speak up and they recognize you're new-ish, because stomping noobs and looting their greens isn't all that much fun. Granted, there will be people who don't care, but many people are totally fine with letting you go about your business when they think that you're not after them. The only time that might not work is when they have same goal as you (such as farming wolves in ice cavern).

50 hours no problems with pve is only true in F2P, high roller mobs will fuck your world up

Your average casual FTP player won’t even know that troll boss exists until at least 50-100 hours in.

Great video! I was curious on opinions of The game / F2P for those who stuck with it and didn't put it down right after dying to 1st skele in spawn their first 5 games. I think your method helped a lot, watching gameplay / tutorials makes a world of difference. I try to explain to people that the first 50-100hours of the game are going to SUCK. But all you have to do is get past the first hump of the learning curve and the game opens up so much. Doing your research really speeds this up. Also, for what its worth- Ironmace didn't plan for the game to be F2P and to my knowledge, the only reason it ended up this way was because they wanted people who already bought the game to be able to migrate to steam without having to purchase the game again or re-routing the steam edition to blacksmith launcher. I'm glad they did go the F2P route and I'm sure they're still figuring out how to give F2P a more full&fair experience without discrediting/disincentivizing people who already bought or may buy.

i play since the first playtest and all in all its a very fun game to play even more so with you're friends imho the clunkiness makes this game awesome but yeah well i am not 14 anymore pushing my 30s so yeah well maybe we just wanna play some awesome ol games like we used to , for me this game is a big 8/10
