Kings’ Outdoor Life
United States
เข้าร่วมเมื่อ 4 พ.ย. 2011
This Channel is about Our life outdoors.
I am a Financial Advisor by day and a weekend Warrior that does a ton of little projects almost everyday and every Saturday and try to keep Sunday after church light duty. My Grandfather taught us that if we worked on Sunday you would have a flat tire. ;-) During quarantine I realized I was asking TH-cam daily about something I was going to do the next day and decided to video myself and let people learn from my mistakes.
I hope you enjoy the content, learn how to do some things, how not to do some things, and enjoy coming along side the family on some outdoor adventures!

From bad and expensive failure lessons: if the mix is too wet when poured, it will have a lot of bleed water. Real "finishing" can't be effectively done while the bleed water is there. Burning one hard and getting a glossy finish seems to be a good band-aid. The proper "fix" is to have a mix out of the truck which isn't too wet to begin. Good luck getting labor to spread a stiffer mix or the truck driver to not flood the plant mix, washing his funnel with 20 gallons after getting loaded. Now that it's there, a heavier coat of densifier may work but, really, call the company, Dayton Superior, and talk to their CS for input. Ultimately, a film sealer may be the only remedy. Outdoors in the sun, epoxy is out as I am pretty sure there isn't a "UV-tolerant" epoxy...it's going to fail, sooner than later. A roughing and a smear of "concrete color hardener", maybe with a bonding agent, might solve it, too. But, when I have crappy, soft-surface, dusty concrete, it started with a mix with too high w/cm ratio. The time to have "fixed" it was when it got poured: use a drier mix. There are a number of products which increase slump while not requiring or needing any extra water when it's poured. That doesn't correct this problem, but it's good to consider for future jobs. Thank God it was your own and not for a customer.
Thanks for the insight. I hate its mine, but glad I don't do it for a living and it is someone else's like you said. Thanks for watching!
Lots of pheasants in Montana again this year, saw a pile of them in September hunting sharpies and Huns.
Thanks Tim, headed to SoDak tomorrow, maybe we will find them there.
Love them huns!!
ME TOOO! Upland royalty. Thanks for watching!
That was a quick limit!! Nice Ty!
Yessir! So good to have other species to chase after that.
If your a thief or criminal turn this video off … Criminal: 🦻🏾👁️👄👁️🦻🏾
Wow! You need a schematic to keep those seasons straight. Looks like fun! I bet the freezer is full! 😊 🦅
i have a very complicated schematic created by Julius Ceasar or some old dude back then, maybe Augustus.🤣
Nice one mate , I assume these are wild birds with having a limit on the amount you can shoot , no limit over here , but we do release pheasant and partridge on shooting estates , ( I was a gamekeeper for a while on an estate ) we don’t have limits on anything usually ( unless in a wildfowling club , they impose daily limits) but generally we can shoot as many as we want, most are surplus birds that wander over from neighbouring estates, although generally we don’t get too greedy and only take what we need for the pot , same with ducks on the flight ponds ,, great video 👍👍🤠
Yessir, all public access land and all wild birds. Thanks for watching!
@@KingsOutdoorLife we don’t have public land in the uk ( not for shooting on anyway) more of a right to roam policy,, some parts of Europe have public land to shoot/hunt on but not the UK , same goes with fishing, we can’t just go and fish in any river or lake we feel like , it’s mostly private and costs quite a bit of money to get on there ,, fortunately, beaches and estuaries and some tidal stretches of rivers can be fished without a licence, but anything else is private property
Good Dog!🐕 🦆 🦜 Looks like a great day. I guess we know what’s for dinner! 😅🚜🇺🇸

Love me some Huns!!!
Growing up in Alabama chasing the Gentelman Bob, this is so much like that to me. Bobs didn't laugh at you as they flew off though. Thanks for watching!
Great stuff! Neat to see all the partridge.
@@jcwoutdoors Huns are becoming my favorites. How far West in SD do you have to go to find them? Thanks for watching!
@@KingsOutdoorLife quite a ways. Basically, there needs to be equal amounts pasture ground and cropland. There are pockets all over, but you essentially need to be west of the river to find them in any abundance.
those dogs are a little too loyal
@@zshawn2957 I have been around bird dogs all my life. That is very common. I’ll take good and loyal any day. Thanks for watching!

@@KingsOutdoorLife sounds perfect!😅🤣
Here's a tip, get your compressor full first, then add a few drops of tranny fluid inside the quick coupler end before you attach it to the hose. It helps give the impact gun, a huge advantage to take off those stubborn nuts.
That’s a huge tip. Thanks for sharing!
Way to make short work of those roosters! Montana is definitely on my bucket list when I get my next dog!
Where in the South are you from?

Tomorrow I’m going to tow my trailer because I just got my truck back 2 days ago from the 3rd oil leak and because I complained about the info center been locked up when towing and I believe what they did is to turn off the warning messages, speed decrease in my truck so I won’t complain again.
How many miles do you have? It is amazing how much more def it uses while towing.
Right after the towing , oil leak from the front crank shaft seal . 6 months later , another trip with the trailer , the same thing, also oil leaking from engine seals again , another trip the same thing , don’t tow with those trucks .
Thanks for watching!
The biggest issue you’re going to have is when towing, I own a 2023 Duramax 3.0 / max tow package 13,500lbs, from Florida to Washington State the truck used just under 5gl of DEF , on the way back towing a 7,800lbs travel trailer , it used 20gl , but the biggest problem is the info center locks up even when you fill up the DEF tank all the way to the top , it’s a nightmare
How did you get it fixed and cleared?
@@Evan_2211 they can’t fix it , a GM field engineer came to check my truck and I got no response from him. He instructed the local tech to clear all the errors in the info center, he added DEF all the way to the top. My dash cam that I believed that was off on the back of the truck actually it was on and the GM engineer was worried only about clearing the errors when talking to the local tech. The engineer was just ignoring the questions asked by the local tech about the issues. The GM engineer got to the dealership at 1pm and left back to the hotel around 3:30 pm lol
I haven't been in about thirty years. Watching this brings back how much fun it was. Guys I use to work with would get together and hunt. I changed jobs and lost contact. What part of Alabama do you hunt? We hunted in Shelby county around dairy farms.
Dairy farms are great places for Dove. Thanks for watching!
Nice hunt! They were shooting a lot around my area this morning so they were moving good I guess. Love seeing the dogs work.
Thank you sir. These storms made them move around a bit.
Good video mate , very similar to flighting woodpigeons over here , great fun 👍👍🤠
Lots of birds, looks like a blast! Very polished retrieving work too!
Marginal trainer work at best. I say never blame the dogs, it is the handler and lack if time invested. Thanks for watching!
Wow! Lots of birds down there! I think you are correct about doves not having a lot of sent for the dogs.
or the green grass just has more. Thanks for stopping by!
😊 Very cool! Looks like fun. I still think my favorite part is seeing the dog action. 😅 Thanks for sharing! 🦅 🦢
