Brilliant!
Where did you buy the led? Do you happen to have a link?
Nice!
You bloody ripper. You one upped me. I did very similar with screws and was wondering how to up the amps, i was thinking two screws haha bolts didnt occur to me... Love your attachments too. Thanks for sharing
Nerd level 10
Coool. I like them all. Instruction pleaseeee
Thanks for the ideas.
cool, how long will that stay running before it dies out?
I think re-orienting the Ryobi battery so it hangs down might make it a bit more stable. Additionally, have the battery mount lower on the assembly would lower the center of gravity; this would also aide stabilization of the light. It's a great piece of kit and I want to make one.
Can you make some lights and horn for a bicycle ?
So you just connect positive to positive on the battery and negative to negative in the battery and it can power 12v items?
No not quite, the battery is 18v, so to safely use 12v devices you would need to step the voltage down, the lights used here can handle 18v
@@fishingcampingken9638 ooooh ok. I assumed that. But I stumbled across your vids and it just showed contacting the polarities with a screw and connecting +/- to the device
Awesome hacks. I’ve done all of this. Makes me feel good I’m not the only one. Good work
I wonder if you can removed the battery holder from another brand tool and create a ryobi battery holder then connect electrical leads into the tool. Now you turned the X tool into a ryobi.
I like your contacts best. Just saw another video and they used a heat gun to get the horse shoe shape.
nah...
While there is a definite cool factor, I feel that your reinventing the wheel. How about a bug zapper or a plasma lighter? Can you use the battery to heat a hot plate?
Only if the battery catches fire, seriously the idea is to build something that equally as good as the commercial product for less $$$$
Friend You are on another level ✌️
will any 12volt device run off this or is 18volt to much and will fry device?
Funny how that's there new flashlight design
Nice!
Amazing ideal...Peace
Meh, sure they were fun to make, but I like the tools with warranties that are probably close to the same price if not a little more.
Thanks Ken! Are the terminal bolts threaded in? Or glued? Or both? I know i can choose my own way. I’m just curious how you did it.
What terminals are you using inside the pvc?
Did you use a voltage converter or regulator to get the voltage from 18 down to 12-13v?
gunna run with your idea put sum mags on it stick it to the van m8 cheers
How did you make those different holders for the Ryobi battery ? Can you put out a video for that please. #PEACE ✌🏿
See what I can do, will be a couple of weeks
good one m8
