Medical Spanish Podcast
United States
เข้าร่วมเมื่อ 26 มี.ค. 2010
Hello, I'm Molly Martin, a hospitalist doc who fell in love with Latin America while living in Bolivia. On my days off, I make medical Spanish lessons based on common clinical encounters with my teachers from Latin America. We also interview real patients and providers from Latin America. In these interactive audio lessons, we cover BASIC to ADVANCED SPANISH. In order to support this free podcast, I also offer member-only podcasts and courses. In the interactive member lessons at docmolly.com, we take a deep dive into the Spanish you hear in the free lessons. We review the vocabulary and grammar as we interpret the key phrases between English and Spanish. This podcast is ideal for ANYONE (not just medical providers and interpreters) who wants to reach an advanced level through listening and speaking.
Spanish for Cellulitis - Risk Factors and Exam
We continue the clinical dialogue with Henry, the PA, as he evaluates a patient with suspected cellulitis. He asks about risk factors for cellulitis and MRSA and then conducts a physical exam.

Thanks you so much, you are the best
Muchas gracias doctora!
Me pica la raja del culo
You would instead say Mi not El when speaking about yourself
Yes, you could use "mi" here, but actually... It is more common to use a definite article (rather than a possessive adjective) when referring to a part of the body. This is especially the case when it is obvious to whose body you are referring.
Great. Thanks
Just came across your channel. This is terrific stuff. Subscribed and liked!
I'm so glad you like it. Thanks so much!

I thought espejo was a mirror. Useful lesson. Very well explained.
You are right. It does mean mirror, and it is also used to say "speculum" in Mexico.
Gracias.thanks for gratis help.
Hola, Doc Molly!
Please continue making this content, it’s helping me so much!!!!
4:50 please dont do that, nobody will undestand what you are saying, corazone cuelle, homirguee, pulmonese pele, piele, 😂 its Just nonsense
The words you chose are not adjectives, so it appears you did not understand the grammatical concept she was trying to convey.
Tingle is there, so you are incorrect and you dont know much about this inclusive langiage because they dont just use adjetives they also use @@schnookertonnouns and pronouns, you have to learn more, educate yourself and then talk.

Symply great. Congrats and thanks.
Interesting video. How do you add timestamps into your show notes?
Hello Joe. Thank you. I use the Blubrry´s PowerPress plugin for my podcast feeds and this enables timestamps. You can also use the Skip to Timestamp plugin for WordPress or use both on the same website. They are compatible. I hope this helps.
Thank you!
