Where can I find the clips for this rifle
@@leontyrson7965 Swedish Mauser clips work, you can get them on Amazon
Nice examy. The story I picked up is contract for the IJN, I was allways looking for an example with the original sling. I did get a vet bringback from ETO. They are smooth and accurate.
Squeeze that fucking trigger with your fingertip for fucks sake. Don't do It like that. That's why you have NO control over that weapons system.
OVER ⛽️ ⛽️ ⛽️ AF 😂 BUT NICE THO 💯
Great video! Nice rifle!!
Now you have me wanting to take out mine and check its markings. I just wish my eyes could handle those tjny sights like they used to!
Use S&B 8mm, it is a little more expensive than PPU but the k98 likes their loading better. I get some pretty good 2" groups out my RC k98's with them.
I have quite a few of the Russian Capture K98ks. I sorted through several crates to get all byf coded rifles with excellent bores. They look pretty good after stripping off the red lacquer. It eventually flakes off anyway. Another interesting K98k is the Turkish capture rifles. The Turks relieved retreating German soldiers of their K98ks. They put Turkish style sling swivels on them, and absorbed them into the inventory. All original markings are intact. No Turkish markings.
👍🏻
Use the 196gr SP instead of the 198gr FMJ. They group better.
Captured twice...
I had one of the Russian capture Lugers once. Only because it was a 1936 issue identical to a nice one I had but that I did not want to shoot. The Russian reworks were pretty quick and dirty IMO. Although they could be OK as shooters. The dip reblue is kinda yuk.
Which receiver mark and waffenamts?
I don't recall but they may have stamped over them in Russia. At least the maker codes were still on. The price he mentions is kinda sad, these reworks always sold dirt cheap in the past compared to originals
@TomSherwood-z5l it's always interesting to find out. Mine is a BNZ '43 stamp which came from the Steyr plant. Also an RC. Nice vid!
It’s a script CE 42
Mine is also a Russian capture but still mostly matching It shoots really well And with my time apropriate scope on it it’s an eye catcher on the range everytime
I see you have a front site hood. That helps a lot. Try it without the hood. And you know what I mean
I find that PPU ammo shoots kind of wild for the old military surplus guns.
コッキング音がBIOHAZARD4と似てる
Delightful range session! Not surprised at the KAR-98. Carcano gave better results than I would have expected. The Arisaka was about what one would expect. The chrome lined barrel was a wise decision for a rifle that often ended up in tropical environments, especially using corrosive ammo which was of course normal.
America’s first smokeless powder rifle! Well known for quality workmanship and accuracy.
Very nice condition 1903! This rifle had a well deserved reputation for fine accuracy. Your example bears that reputation out!
That is the very best condition paratrooper M-38 I have ever seen. No wandering zero. Beautiful. You are most fortunate!
This kid is a natural shooter. I would say he could qualify as an expert marksman according to the standards if he was tested. I hope he continues on his journey of learning and maybee one day he could be one of this country’s great defenders .
The “spreadout” group o hits is, as we say in the army, because of that little piece behind the rifle
Caliber?

Outstanding! Keep the info coming.

Another rifle in excellent condition for its age.
Great video Jeb. Very informative. I must get hold of a 7 MM Mauser for my collection.
Cats Meow - straightest shooting and most accurate bolt action made by man...
con los fusiles militares mauser , si disparas a 100 yardas tienes que apuntar 10 centimetros abajo
muy bueno gracias
“Kriegsmodell”is a cool name,but is actually simplified 😅 model

My uncle used to have one of these. I remember that I couldn’t put the bolt back in when it was cocked.
Thank you for this video!!! I'm definitely going to replace the firing pin!!!!!
I happened to have loaded some rounds while I was in my den and I think it was by the grace of God that it didn't slam fire on me then!!!!!😮😮😮
