Not far from home. Back on the whack night. lol

I play other Wii games, more in the past, without video capturing. For the last six months or so, I've captured my Wii Tennis play and put my weird progress on TH-cam for all to see. lol

I started using Wii Tennis as an exercise during the pandemic, and I still find it useful. At least I can decide at moment's notice to start a tennis game, of sorts, with two elite players. lol

I am looking forward to Switch 2, to see how tennis is implemented there. I have seen tennis on Switch, the play perspective is different, more like a player's perspective. Well, you probably have the best first hand experience with it.

I guess you mean teaming up with a machine player by "a net player." Only a guess.

I used to play single Mii with a machine assigned player, often Matt. It was a more natural playing experience for me, and it was relatively easy. So much so that it became slightly boring as I would win handily and consistently. It is also physically less demanding. I still have some earlier videos of single Mii play.

Then someone on TH-cam suggested playing double Mii, mainly to win higher pro points. I was reluctant to change in the beginning, but then I decided to give it try. So here we are, loads videos. It was tough to get used to in the beginning. But now I am used to it, and take it on as a challenge. It is much tougher to win, and physically more demanding.

@@wangberg9242 I always found it the other way around. i'm so used to playing with 2 players that playing with just me has never felt right, and I feel less likely to win. But I am speaking in tennis terms, as i myself am a tennis player and enjoyer. What I am saying is you could rely more on the teammate closest to the net. don't rely 100% but if it is going that way and there is a wide open shot, go for it with that guy. i saw chances that you didn't take with it. I would try and learn about it and figure it out. I think it's just easy for me to see cause I play both Wii tennis and real tennis.

This is the beauty of the internet. We get connections around the world with people with a nice hobby. Of course, the added benefit is that I get some good exercises smashing the non-existent tennis ball. lol

Cool ideas. Much appreciated. I am not in any rush to get the top score. Like they say, getting there is half of the fun. In my case, it is probably more than half. lol

It is probably the easiest just to keep playing against the machine players. Gradually the moves tend to come to you.

Actually it never was a true online game. Wonder if Switch has it. Looking forward to Switch 2.

I took a look at Switch Tennis. Pretty nice, not fundamentally better though. Perhaps I should try that some day. Also hear the successor of Switch is coming out soon. Wonder if tennis is included, and if yes, how it is.

@@wangberg9242 Tennis in this game cause alot more chaos which is fun if you ask me, and in Nintendo Switch Sports, they made our characters tired and slow and everything.

I heard that Nintendo sold something like 100 million Wii consoles. There are lots of them out there.

I will see if there are other more appealing ways to title the videos.

My current routine is to play four matches, alternating between the left and right hand, posting two of the videos.
