Great stuff
Nice !!!!! Such cool cars
whick forum did you download the tune from? xD
We do all of our own in-house tuning. All of our built customer's tunes are completely different and catered to each build. These builds are all unique and have to be finely dialed in. We do not trust the work of other tuners, either. We do not waste our time on forums. Also, no other shop is building as many T7 cars as we are nowadays. Happy New Year, and thank you for your view, comment, and support! Stay tuned for more amazing builds :D
Thanks for the vid. A question though. If I want to do it reverse, means swap manual to automatic, Is it necessary to remove dash, radio , steering wheel and steering column entirely? To remove old pedals and put from automatic? Or it could be done without removing steering wheel and all that front top plastic?
brake horse power is more real than real horse power
BHP is less than WHP. BHP is at the crank. WHP is at the wheels.
But it doesn't look like a cop car...
Do you have a longer video of this tear down. Might have to do the same for my b284
A set of new AC control buttons would do a lot in this car😄
I may be doing the exact opposite of this, there is a super nice TurboX for sale for a decent price, I am thinking buying it but I would have to convert it from a manual to an automatic
@@yt-is-mal you would be killing the value in half if you did this. We have a turbo x Combi that is auto if you are looking for one
@@snailwerx1576 I would go for it if I was in the US, sadly my country forbids importing cars older then 5 years, there are only 2 of them where I live, one is a real TurboX and the other one (the one for sale) is a clone, owner took a rusted out TurboX and transplanted all its parts including the XWD system into a 2004 93 Arc. this is probably why its being sold at decent price.
Are you planning on posting a full video on this? I have a a b284 in my SAAB. I would love a more comprehensive teardown/upgrade video.
Do you know which 4.45 crown fits to the 9-5 f35 gearbox? I am asking because the 9000's 4.45 crown does not.
Ng900 v6
Saturn l200 as well
this is the old record car. new record is 61:59
@@hausmeisterengineering5952 same car. When we made this video we just got done rebuilding the motor and upgrading the turbo for Nik. It was being prepped for next run which is the record now 61:59 that you speak of.
@@hausmeisterengineering5952 the hardest part was tuning it on 91 octane to make max power while being fuel efficient and safe. Took a lot of high speed logging runs to get it right.
It would be amazing if you would make and sell coilovers for a saab 9-3 og due to there are basically none to buy and the ones that are online are really expensive Or make a vid how to make ones like in the video and from what car you got them
How much would it cost for you guys to do a tear down on my engine?
is it good engine or nah
Not so tough and hard to get to now eh water pump?😂
heh, if you live in country where everybody drives automatic cars, then you want to swap to manual. But I'd really like to exchange my F40 to automatic :D
We do swaps mainly for stronger LSD built transmissions. Autos don’t allow for LSDs
Will you make a full video on a teardown of the f35 and where do u buy the parts to rebuild
Ah, I see the SAAB owners are being specific about product numbers again.
Hey I have a 2004 Saab 9-3 Arc Convertible I’m trying to build I’m not sure how I’d get in contact with you guys or where you’re located but I could sure you some help 💯😎
Illuminating
Let's see what the 900 can do with a modern set up
Mr & Mrs crab is in Orlando as well. Lol
What is the update on this machine
I’m dealing with low boost on my 2001 saab viggen i just bought. Thanks for the info. I’m hoping it’s just an air leak of sorts but i’m going down the list just in case.
Mouse nest?
How much power would you need to reach 200mph with the 405?
It depends on which car you have drag coefficient is a huge factor
@@snailwerx1576 01 viggen?
9000 owner seems like a cool guy
Do you do work only for yourself or is it business? I want work done on my 93 aero…
No, we own a full performance shop in Clearwater, Florida. You can reach out to us via email info@snailwerx.com and we can schedule a build consultation. We have customers ship their cars from all over the country to be fully built by us.
Never knew Saab made a v6
I got a 03 95 aero 290hp I keep the badges on cuz I want them to know when the sleeper comes a pulling
Dude you just saved me from aelling my parts car i got to do a manual swap. I read every you had to swap the wiring harness and modules
Yep, here's the video. I want the auto trans! Hit me up with a pick up cash price plz 🙏
Do you have the Af40 trans for sale on e-bay? Wondering what you'd charge me if I can have it picked up!
Send us a message on eBay 😎
@@snailwerx1576 I didn't want to message through e-bay cause some times they are picky about it, and think your scewing them over. Cause I'm in hopes I can have it picked up, so the crazy shipping cost can be saved on both our ends cause I'm in NC
@@snailwerx1576 I also have an 09 9-3 convertible parts car if you might be interested in a trade. I'll have to get rid of it at some point, and just needed some odds and ends off it.
But how do you remember where all the bolts go
18 years of experience is how 😃
@@snailwerx1576 your telling me to remember I have to have 18 years experience no I really am curious how do you know where to start when you don't have experience
There isn’t much on youtube on the B284. This is amazing
Thank you for the support. We intend to bring content that nobody else is providing 😃😎
You shouldn't use an impact to break head bolt loose
In a motor disassembly where almost every bolt and part is getting replaced, we do. This saves our customers a lot of time and money. We torque everything to spec with a torque wrench and degree tool during reassembly. That takes 3-4 times as long to do so. No need to be that particular during disassembly if all parts are getting replaced. Also, most bolts are broken free by hand prior to impact use.
If you watch our other breakdown videos you will see that 😃 we just did not have enough time to show that part of the breakdown due to how intricate and extensive this motor is completed to the 4 cyls we have shown in other videos
Its disassembling time, bent rod and this guy cry over a bolt 😂😂😂 first time seeing your channel and you're doing a great job :)
@@snailwerx1576 the impact will round the head bolts, try it
@@TomV958 the impact will round out the head bolts, try it
By best asmr I’ve ever seen thank you so mcuh
Thank you for the support! 😃
I'm not that good with cars I have to admit I can do basic shit and that's it but I'd like to learn tho it's a very useful skill
“Size matters” hurt a lot of feelings with that 😂
🤣🤣
Aint no reason you gotta have that much chain lmao theres a reason american engines typically last longer keyword TYPICALLY not always but most of the time
@@kabroo330 This the same motor as the 3.6 v6 Camaro or 3.2 3.0 used in tons of GM vehicles!! This is a GM motor at the end of the day.
I build engines and haven’t torn into a bmw yet but tbh they don’t look bad like how people say 😂
theyre simpler built than this saab engine
You need video uploads on this one and the b207 tear down 💯💯
Coming soon 😎
And rebuilding videos
So satisfying 😍
The impact sound is so satisfying 🤤
Take glasses off and say that
what is even the back story of this 93?
Rust holes the size of Texas so we turned it into a truck haha!
Legit my old boss, dude would have the most random crap and have a complete backstory, it was wild
We make weekly trips to the scrap yard. We have a lot of stuff from parts cars. Sadly not everything is savable
You rebuild transmission ?
Yes we do. We currently build 3-5 transmissions a month.
what are the part numbers?
