I worked at Disneyland in 1970ish when Walt Disney was still alive and dress code were strictly enforced . Long hair on men was not aloud. Not just for cast members but for guests too. Walt was kind of a dick about that. I'm happy to see that has changed.
Yea even when I worked there around 96-97 the dress code was really strict. I remember having to measure the length of my nails to make sure they weren’t too long.

I prefer the original version of the ride without all the nightmare before Christmas stuff. They close the ride for too long in preparation for it and afterward.
If I had to choose between the 2… I would have to choose the original as well. And you’re right they do close it down for too long.

How did it get slammed?
I should have said that we slammed into the doors. Our ride vehicle was too close to the other one in front, tripped a sensor, the door didn’t have time to open. And BOOM we go into the doors. I’ll be filming a follow up video on Tuesday 😉
