It’s all about Who you place your identity in. The Lord is walking me through that season right now. I’ll hold onto this as a message of hope.
Neil great interview!!
Please do not go to Clinton for horse training he’s very abusive
Will he ever shut up my god
This joker is a big mouth
Go to Ryan rose for training he’s great and smart
You are horrible stop 🛑 training (it’s not training) you are abusive
This guy is monstrous and shouldn't be training horses or influencing anyone.
Since childhood, I've drawn a symbol. Im curious if I draw it, would you be able to tell me if it means anything? I can't find it & I've never seen it.
Great interview
KMart cowboy, search his hyperflexing, short cut, abusive techniques. All he talks about is money, becasue thats all that matters to him. Horseman talk about horses, they use horse metaphors and sayings. Greedy Kmart cowboy. All hat and no cattle.
He made it look so easy. Great form
One of the best ever in my opinion. In the middle the whole time. Toes out. Very sticky he was. Razor Sharp.
Man I love your podcast. I recently found it through bullriding videos. I am from ranching roots but didnt continue after my folks passed. I miss it and the people
Wow!! Thanks!!! Great interview 👍🏻
I’m Will Sharp his son
He is actually my dad I’m Will Sharp
Are you kidding he beat a blind horse 🐎 hes trash 😅😅😅
I love this man, First man to ever ride all 10.. Monahans TX.. him, Lane and Tuff
Kermit Texas. Monahans is about 20 mins away
Jim Sharp is definitely one of the best to ever do it.🫡
Exact same answer he gave the woman at the bar, is the answer I gave to a dame that asked me about her older horse that's been bucking all its life. It was at a barbecue and I had a few drinks, and I think the rest of group thought I was a monster. What the f ever, I was asked a question, I gave an honest answer.
One time at a bareback riding school in Carthage MO, 25 years ago. He put us on horses late in the first day. I rode the shit out of mine. Mainly because I was in front of my Idol! I can still remember him saying You really got something to build on..keep it up!! The second day I double grabbed on a horse and Ty made me do 25 push ups in the middle of the arena. When I got up he shook my hand and said now....NO MORE FUC*ING DOUBLE GRABBIN! In 10 years after that of riding bareback horses... I never double grabbed on one.😂
Thanks for sharing! It's funny how we can perform when we feel it's important!
Ty has always gone out of the box to be a Champion. I’m sure some people were giving him a hard time about doing gymnastics but they don’t have the buckles or influence he does. Dancing with the stars, a cowboy ? Now he’s introduced a whole new group of people to Rodeo. When he retired and started getting trained to train horses, I saw an interview of them asking why he was doing that. His answer was “if they are going to call me the greatest cowboy of all time, I’m going to keep working on it”. Great show.
@@mikeweaver238 thanks for sharing!
Don't handicap your children by making life easy on them!
Yessir! It's not always easy, but some of the best lessons we learn are learned the hard way.
I really enjoyed the confidence part of this interview. Its so true. And of all the belt buckles Ty has won... how did he choose this one 🤠
We all lose it and we all have to find ways to get it back! Thanks for watching!
I thought I was a potty mouth but he's got me beat. I don't remember him being that way. I started riding about the time Clinton came on the scene and have learned so much from him. He has been a huge addition to the field.
HA! Not sure that's a competition you'd want to get into with Clinton. Thanks for watching!
I feel like hes come a long way. Meaning he seems a lot more humble and at peace. There seems to be a while he was a bit of an Ahole... He gives a lot of credit to his employees and you d9nt hear that often from owners etc
Thanks for watching! I agree that credit to your team is important!

Yes sir! Thanks for watching!
325, first I thought you notching pig ears
You got it!
An empty can makes the most noise.
325!!?
You got it! Thanks for watching!
Nice Show I like it🌹🌹🌹🌹🌹
Nice
I met Ty in Kissimmee Florida we were both up that day and he sat and talked me through my issues I was having with my rigging and taking some of power away from the bigger stronger horses. Thanks Ty for being such a great leader and Champion to make time for the little guy’s who just wanted to be in the show.🙏
Thanks for watching and sharing that experience!
I think the Steiner family rocks and people are just looking for a reason to rag on Rocker because like his Dad he’s a cowboy that’s just not going to fit in a box to make you think he’s your kind of Cowboy.Keep em rolling Rock 💪🏽🇺🇸
Thanks for chiming Jesse! The box is definitely for the Steiner family!
@@thecowboyperspective-tcp just like JB they are doing it their way and it’s original not a show.🔥🔥💪🏽
As dad's we have a lot of responsibility and we can't be passive. Thanks for having Tim and Kenny on the show, this was another great episode!
Engage and Lead! Thanks for sharing the thoughts!

I’m embarrassed this guy is an Aussie what a tosser
His training techniques are terrible.
💯💯
Love him. He gets straight to the point. I don’t mind the language at all!
All value...no fluff!
Nobody refers to him as Clint. It's Clinton.

You said u were loving this interview…. I AM TOO! So much great information, inspiration, and ingenuity. When will we get NEW Gauge interviews?
Building on something Chance said: I would love to hear some stories from people that made the NFR 1 time, never were able to go back, struggled, and then became successful in another place, industry, or track in life.
Great point...That is a good thread to pull on!
Shit honestly, if I die tomorrow, I die tomorrow. Not really something hard to understand.
You got me smiling with this comment...definitely a perspective to ponder.
@@thecowboyperspective-tcp According to most of my family I'm not normal since I've long since accepted we all die eventually, and when we least expect it. I'm fully prepared to stop existing tomorrow, hell even tonight. I mean, I'd prefer not to because dying is typically not good for one's health, in fact it's quite possibly the worst thing for one's health, but eventually it happens. Being afraid of that day, waiting to accept fate well, what's the point? I know I'm gonna die eventually, probably sooner than I hope, but that's okay because I'm alive now. And as long as I'm alive here in the present, I can make the most of it. Then if I do die tomorrow, at least I'll have lived life to the fullest. Sorry, that became more of a rant than I wanted it to. Thank you for bringing me back to this. Made my night a bit better 😊
Thank you for a great podcast.
Thanks for listening
This kid could have multiple gold buckles, but he has just gotta grow up.
It is going to be interesting to see where his career goes!
Totally agree, and also, the more you force them to try to be something they don't like at all, the more they will antagonize it and be more enticed by escaping it
Thanks for sharing your thoughts!
We saw Clinton at a very small clinic held at a boarding stable up near Phoenix, AZ in the late 90's. There were 10 or 15 riders (don't remember for sure) and about 15 spectators. It was at an outside arena, and very cold. Someone started a fire in a metal barrel for warmth. We drove about 2 hrs from Tucson to watch. I could tell even at that time this guy was really going somewhere. Clinton, I'm old enough to be your mother so I think I can say - that I am so proud of you! You've made it though some tough bumps in the road & came out on the other side. Good on ya!
Haw! My husband and I were there too from Oracle! I had a couple of his original video tapes that helped our horsemanship to much! I have to say that was the most fun we ever had anywhere, laughing constantly at Clinton's observations lol.
He’s a abuser 🛑
All hat no cattle
