Rasmussen Trip by Kucherov in Detroit Red Wings 2-0 win versus Tampa Bay
มุมมอง 1.1K6 วันที่ผ่านมา
The Detroit Red Wings shut out the Tampa Bay Lightning and the game sealing goal came in the final seconds from #rasmussen and included a trip by #kucherov that saw #detroitredwings staff have to assist the big forward to the locker room. Decide for yourselves if this was a “dirty” trip or not. The referee’s arm went up so it would have been a penalty if the puck hadn’t gone in.

Todd McLellan’s 3rd game in his brief tenure taking over as head coach saw the team lose the first game then gather two straight wins. Simplified defensive execution, new look penalty kill, and a team that seems to have its spirits lifted. Hopefully the momentum can continue into 2025

Kucherov has a dirty little history… that’s what you miss about old NHL is stuff like this was policed by the players, not the refs or players safety !
great video. love how you just let it play after your intro. no interruptions!
100% that should be a suspension. 1-2 games.
Suspension? That not look good.
Heck yeah.
You rock! Thanks for always dropping in!
Nice
Thank you so much! I can’t tell you how much it means to see you pop in on all of these. Very grateful
Basically, these players are gonna go to their senior seasons and pull out for the most amount of money from any NHL team. It’s gonna create rookies who have contracts beyond what the normal CBA agreement would be for even first round draft picks. Jack Devine will be an interesting one
There is going to be extreme top heavy teams in NCAA and less talent in major juniors along with many older juniors players leaving Canadian junior hockey for better opportunities - taking spots away from younger players in NCAA
We’re doing an update on this in the next few days. One football game (Oklahoma vs. Navy) saw a team that lost 25 players to the portal the week before. I touched base with someone who would help fundraising for DIV I college hockey as well as some football. Smaller colleges needed an outside injection of funds just to keep going. He replied, “this will kill schools like (blank for privacy). Michigan has 7 tier I hockey programs. Only 2 are loaded with resources - University of Michigan and Michigan State. Western, Ferris, Michigan Tech, Northern etc are staring at this wide eyed right now. Add the CHL transfer, infinite transfer portal with no wait to play at the new school (used to be 1 year) and now the CHL has issues too.
@ now when you mention seven tier 1 programs are you referring to like division one D2 D3, club Hockey and so on and so forth? What’s interesting is that? I think the division two Hockey at university of Michigan for example will be dominant now playing schools like Florida Gulf Coast University, which actually was pretty decent in division two or three play I can’t remember which but it’s interesting. I see colleges creating their own levels of competition within them so maybe university of Michigan may have four or five different division programs and so on and so forth and all the big schools will go that route and expand money into those areas in increasing revenue, obviously hopefully an interest in Hockey as well. That would be the only positive that would come from this. I just can’t stand the gambling everywhere though it’s ruining sports as is now paying all these players money that they would earn in professional sports as college athletes.
@@Shayjamusic I should have said Division I. For now, CHL players can only transfer to Division I schools. My mistake.
Nice
Audio is broken in some parts.
I am so sorry for that. Will try to smooth it out, stuttering acting up today and had to do more quick edits than I wanted.
@@StringsnPucks-s9j I know what it´s like to be your own production team. Keep posting!
@@johan.j.bergman that’s very cool, thank you so much! It’s a steep learning curve!
I do agree - way toooo many passes. Shoot the puck and get someone -anyone- in front of the net.
Hey, this was a serious conversation much needed.
Thank you so much for that. I’m not against student athletes being able to get paid, but what we just saw and how schools are using got nasty pretty quickly. I have a feeling the transfer portal will be addressed, but for now all the expense of a bowl game is wasted and 2 schools lose an opportunity.
Photo looks like Senior Year High School. Lol
Nice interview.
